How accurate am I going to find the weather reports on weather.com or accuweather going to be for Orlando? It seems that it's already changed 3 times since I started checking it. I know that there's always a chance for rain there, but I don't want to deal with a torrential down pour while I'm there.

Are you coming soon? I'm an Orlando local ... our days of daily afternoon showers are done for the most part and it has been pretty nice recently.

The weather recently has been great, I'm actually monitoring it more than usual because I'm running Wine and Dine. I hope you the great weather continues for your trip!

My advice is to ignore the current weather report as it's more than a week in advance. Then, no more than 3 days before your trip, check again and start taking those seriously, though they can always change - of course!

When we're in Orlando, we check the weather every morning before we leave the hotel.

I figured as much it has changed 3 or 4 times just in the past few days. I'm just hoping for fun in the sun!

We were there a few weeks ago. The forecast called for rain every day. The percentage chance fluctuated until our arrival date, but they still called for rain every day except one. As it turned out, we had about 1 minute of rain in the park one day, and on another day it stormed about 15 minutes while we were in the room in the late afternoon. I'm not trying to say that you will have perfect weather, but I wouldn't change any plans based on the forecast.

between late May and early October rain and thunderstorms is an almost daily thing,it's almost pointless to look at forecasts between these months because they're generally going to call for afternoon rain and storms with at least a 40%-60% chance of rain,if not more. From mid October through mid May is the dry season where it's generally pretty nice but we will still get rain when cold fronts come through. This time of year you'll see more days with low rain chance (0%-20%),if you do see 50% or more it will likely rain but they won't be like the summer downpours, more of an overcast day with light rain.

As of now, Weather.com says Monday the 9th now as a 80% chance of rain. The rest of the days seem okay for now. We still have a few more days though and it's changed literally every day I've checked. Accuweather is grossly different and only says there will be a thunderstorm possible in spots on Monday and the percentage is only about 40% no idea which is more accurate.

I don't think anyone ever does want such a downpour. Plan for anything.

Hope it's better than the "could my feet BE any wetter...splash ankle deep into a puddle...why yes they could be wetter" W&D last year!
