Has anyone used Orlando Ticket Club for your WDW tickets? Their prices seem to be a little cheaper than Undercover Tourist (although I have not received my first newsletter/link to the discounted prices for UT). Which brings me to another question. Can anyone tell me how much of a discount you get with the UT link vs the "public" prices? Thanks!

Don't know anything about Orlando Ticket Club, but make sure you are comparing apples to apples when it comes to prices. UT's posted prices include tax and shipping, but some ticket sellers don't include those additions until you actually go to purchase the tickets.

I can't remember exactly what the additional Mousesavers discount is, but it works out to a few dollars a ticket. The exact amount will depend on exactly what ticket you are buying.

Just know the UCT tickets include taxes and shipping. The price you see is the price you pay.

I've never heard of Orlando Ticket Club, so be aware they may add taxes and shipping to the ticket price.

Same thing goes for the ticket prices Disney shows. They do not include tax.

Also never heard of Ticket Club... but I've had nothing but great experiences with Undercover Tourist. Good price, fast delivery -- can't ask for much more.

The website does say the prices include tax but there is a $2.95 shipping charge. The way I figured it, we could save $30 (total) on our 4 adult, 1 child 6-day hoppers with OTC vs UT. However, I would rather pay the difference and deal with someone that I've seen lots of people give good reviews for (UT) than to take a chance and get fake tickets, kwim?

Yep - the savings would have to be significant for me to want to deal with an unknown seller. Like really significant. And if they were, I would be so suspicious I wouldn't buy from them anyway!

I can tell you that at UT the 6 day adult park hopper is $304 and change and that is $29 off gate price

I just went to OTC Website, and they require an email address and password just to enter their site and compare prices. Sorry, I won't do that for a strange website where I'm just browsing. Why do they want my email address? (Duh, I know the answer.). So I won't consider OTC. They are not being forthright with potential customers.

UT: forthright, fast, best price. Don't need to look further. People on the boards here highly recommend UT. I have never, ever, ever heard a complaint about UT.

I was able to navigate around that: http://www.theorlandoticketclub.com/diwoti.html

I trust UT, we have used them several times and not one issue. And from being around here for a while, I know that they have top-notch customer sevice. So, it's UT for me.

Not to hijack your thread...which I guess I'm doing. I just used UT and got the tickets in the mail. Now I know everything says these are actual tickets (not vouchers), but I was surprised that they were paper. We stayed on-site last year so we had the hard plastic card.

Are normal "non-Disney" tickets always paper like this?

If so, what do you do to protect them from ripping, getting wet, etc...

So do I use these paper tickets all week long and expect them not to get ruined? How does Disney possibly associated a FingerPrint Scan with a paper card?

So confused.

I'm assuming that is the "discounted" price which is the same at the OTC price. That makes up my mind then - UT it is! Now, I just have to wait for the link in the Mousesavers Newsletter on the 15th (that will be my first issue). Thanks so much!

Wow! I'm interested to see the answer to this. When I searched UT on this website I'm sure I read where their tickets were the "normal" plastic ones. Hmmm, can't wait so see the replies....

The UT tickets are actual Disney Tickets. And they're not on paper, but Tyvek, a plastic material, like that white wrap used on the outsides of new houses before siding goes up. It's thin, but it won't rip, and holds up well to water. Disney Annual Passes are on the same stock, meant for 365 day use. It holds up better than plastic cards and doesn't de-magnetize as much.

I have a lanyard around my neck that holds my KTTW card, UT ticket, photo ID and a CC, plus some money. I don't carry anything else, except phone and camera. If you are checking-in to a Disney resort, you can ask them to put the UT tickets on your KTTW card. It works most times, but once in a while, it doesn't.

One thing you should do. Scan or camera-shoot the backs of your UT tickets. If anything happens to them, or they get lost, Disney or UT can replace them, even during the middle of your trip. Bring the ticket info with you when you arrive at WDW. :)

They look and feel like paper but they are not paper. They will not tear or rip unless you take a scissor or blade to them. Disney's annual passes and such are all issued on these same "paper" tickets. It's not an issue, they work the same as the other tickets.

The hard plastic cards are for tickets tied to room keys -- the Key to the World card.

I never heard of OTC. That doesn't mean they aren't reliable, just that I never heard of them. There are probably a gazillion ticket sellers who are fine with whom I'm not familiar.

I have ordered from UT many times and never had a problem.

The UT tickets are real. Disney sells the paper ones all over the place. I, too, prefer the plastic ones...but that's a matter of personal preference.

A bunch of people will come by to say the paper isn't paper because it is strong, but they are talking about the paper ones.

They are talking about the ones that look like paper. They still aren't paper.

My WDW AP is on the same stock (as is my Tables in Wonderland card). The APs lasted a total of 10 days in the park, and they still looked perfect at the start of our second trip, though I found out they'd been partially demagnetized (worked in the entrance machines, but didn't work for FP machines). So they replaced them easy peasy!

Finger scan is associated in the same way as the plastic ones...on a database somewhere. Not ON the card. (same as at Universal, where I've had "paper" tickets and now a "paper" annual pass!)

The ones that UT sells are the same ones that Disney sells at the ticket booths. Disney doesn't sell paper tickets to anyone.

Do the UT tickets work in the fastpass machines the same way as the KTTW cards?
