Orlando Ticket Club vs Undercover Tourist

I checked a list on the Cast Portal of "Authorized Off-Site Disney Ticket Sales Locations". This is a list of all companies in the Orlando area which are authorized to sell tickets or vouchers for tickets and lists about 90 names. I cannot publish the list as it clearly states it is not for public release.

That name does not show up on the list.

Thanks! That is great to know. Based on all this info I'll go with UT!

I just want to say to the people who were considering OTC, they have a 100% feedback on Ebay and with over 200 transactions in the past 12 months, there were NO negative or neutral comments only positive comments stating customers received their tickets and they were as described. I decided to order my tickets through them using PAY PAL since I would be protected. With shipping, I am paying $761 for (3) 4-day base tickets with a free 5-day upgrade. That is the cheapest price I've seen anywhere. I will be happy to let you know when I get the tickets.

Not a bad price. Saving $40 from Gate and only paying $4 more than UCT.

I get the same - today's Mousesavers newsletter includes a price for UT tickets that totals $756 for those same 3 tickets.

Even if was the opposite - saving $5 from buying from the ebay reseller, I wouldn't do it. I would never mess with anyone who is not an authorized reseller on the list the the Ticketing CMs can access.

i have been 13 times and UT is our choice and always will be,they have the lowest prices and never had a problem at all.....:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 2 thumbs up for UT, they have the best prices, awesome customer service and super fast shipping!

I'm glad you created an account to come and tell us that you bought those tickets. Sorry, just feels like this.

I'd also prefer to use a real credit card. Paypal and ebay protect you for 45 days. What happens 6 months from now when you go to use those tickets and they are not valid? Not worth the chance, sorry.

I am going to WDW in May. 2 adults and 2 children under 9. I did the comparison between UT and Disney. For 7 day base tickets, it was about $997 from UT, and $1099 BEFORE shipping from Disney. I may be off $1 or two on my numbers, but it was right at $100 savings, which is substantial to me.

Jeff, Now I get it. I'm not a shill, I'm a mom, trying to save a couple bucks. I'm also not an idiot. I have no worries about my purchase since I'm leaving in 30 days and would be protected against fraud. I also used a "real" credit card on Pay-Pal and I've been tracking this merchant for six months just to be sure no one had a problem. I didn't know anything about UT and I read in these threads that you have to wait for a link in a newsletter. I wouldn't of had enough time for that since I'm leaving soon. I was just trying to help others but I see it is a waste of time on this forum .

You helped me and I'm sure others as well. For some people who are really tight on a budget, doing comparisons and shopping around can be huge. Thanks for posting your results.

Unfortunately, you do need an e-mail to click the special link to UT. I get the e-mail every month, but I do still use the link on an e-mail I received back in '09. Keep one Newsletter, the link appears to work regardless of when.

As I can see now. That same package would have cost $754.01 from UT.

You don't have to wait, someone here would have forwarded you the newsletter - there is a whole thread about it. UT price is $4 lower for your package. I wouldn't risk a purchase from a place that is not an authorized seller, but to each his own.

Nicole, I'm sorry. You're right. You could be a normal person trying to save money.

But you realize if you were a shill, this is exactly what you'd say. You signed up the same day to send this message, and your 2 only messages are about these tickets. I've been an active member of this site for 11 years so I've seen things like this happen all the time. It does kinda jade a guy at times. If you had other messages about being excited about going in 30 days, or asking about ADRS or had even posted a message about "Hey, how can I save money on tickets" it'd be different. We've seen that a bazillion times and someone would have pointed you to the UT thread.

I hope you have a great trip and your tickets work out fine.

....I read in these threads that you have to wait for a link in a newsletter...

That's to save an *extra* buck or two off each ticket, beyond their normally discounted prices.

It's something that sometimes gets lost, that the mousesavers link is just a bit extra, not the ONLY way to get a discount.

I'm sorry you didn't see the earlier post where a current ticketing CM said they aren't an authorized ticket re-seller. That right there would have stopped me in my tracks, regardless of what people on ebay say.

This.

Quick question. I'm sure this was answered somewhere else before, but I can't find it. If I buy my tickets from UT and have them shipped to my house. Can I have them added to my KTTW card when I arrive? Versus carrying 2 seperate cards around with me?

Yes, your resort concierge desk can do it.
