Not on this update but Disney Springs is supposedly opening at 5:00PM today.

I'm a little bit curious but how are you able to post cast member info from the Hub on the Disboards? Do they mind if you do that? Great info btw!

Right. We know. The question was how are you able to post cast member info from the hub on the disboards? Esp. Since their is a legal disclaimer regarding the forbidden dissemination to the public, any information contained therein.

Just got back from Disney Springs. It's a mad house and there is no checking to make sure you are a resort guest. They let everyone in. The line for T Rex went all the way around the corner to Under Armour.

Just got back from Disney Springs. It's a mad house and there is no checking to make sure you are a resort guest. They let everyone in. The line for T Rex went all the way around the corner to Under Armour.

We tried to spend some time there. Disney Quest was unable to open food. Lines were nuts and you are right -
No checking. Twitter is full of people arguing about locals going and messing it up. Parking lots were full and at 7:30 they had security blocking vehicle entrances.

sucks being at disney world during a hurricane, dudn't it? (or a major terrorist event....but thats another story)

as soon as they reopen something...its like a pack of starving hyenas descend on it.

You wouldn't have been able to use that car during the curfew though.

But I would have been able to leave property to stock up on some food before the curfew instead of getting overpriced disgusting box lunches.

All I can speak to is where I was. The Poly did a great job. Kept the kitchen running full bore, opened up the sit downs, kept the stores stocked and had box lunches if you wanted them. They shut down the grill late at night and had it running again by about 9am I'd say. Pool opened at 3pm and there were crafts, games and characters throughout. It sucked but they worked hard.

If you wanted to stay another night the deal seemed to be Florida resident price then 50% off but it had to be same room. You try to change room and the deal was off.

Though I didn't like how long it took them to close/cancel yesterday...because it encourages already distraught people to not think clearly...

...but I never doubted they would do a good job. Disney does have the expertise to keep discomfort to a minimum.
