Hi  To all those Canadians packing, and planning thier trips down south. Well my in-laws called today, all I can say is 80'. Can't waite. My poor DD12 is on a school trip in Kitchener trying to ski in the rain. :umbrella: I better have a nice warm meal ready for supper tonight. And tell her the Orlando temp. Pluss she can think of the indoor baseball practice on Wed. night. Summer will come some day. :sunny: :smooth: :sunny: :smooth:

:cool1: How exciting, we're hoping for great weather!!!! Fingers and toes all crossed. We'll be there about the same time as you, have fun!!!! :hourglass

Hi Disney Ontario... thanks for the temperature update and I CAN'T WAIT!!!

:cool1: :sunny:

Hello Disney Ontario, we're from southern Ontario as well, 45 minutes south of Hamilton. We'll be staying from the 5th to the 11th at Embassy Vacation Resort, one night at Seralogo and then from the 12th to the 18th at Summer Bay. It looks like you'll be there a few hours before us. We can't wait, watching our countdown every day. Have a great trip. :cool1:

We're from near Brantford! Leaving next week Wednesday and I see that it will be up to 27 on Tuesday in Florida (but a chance of rain). Either way, its better than here!

My kids have a ski trip on Monday and I am crossing my fingers that no one breaks a leg!

Hi my3princess. We are from Paris. My sister inlaw and family are leaving to day after yous. My DD12 just went Tuesday skiing in Kitchener, yes in the rain :umbrella: Had a great wet first time. She did have a large tumble and everybody thought that she would be hurt. But thank god no. She is now complaining of aches and pains. :wave2:

My DD works at that ski hill in Kitchener - :wave2:

I'll tell her to keep an eye open!

Thanks for the weather update! Hopefully, the temps will just keep getting warmer so that by the time we arrive, we will really know we have left winter behind!! :cool1: :cool1: Can't wait!!

We just got back :( and the temps were great while we were there. Mid to high 20s (75 ish) every day but one, where it was about 12-15 (high 50s low 60s) and every day was clear and sunny. It was perfect for taking in the parks and we even swam a few days. We were also on DCL and the temps were about 28 (around 80). The Castaway Cay day was just beautiful - I would highly recommend a DCL vacation for anyone thinking about cruising - we have never cruised before and it was just wonderful - so much so that we booked a 7 day for 2006 while we were on board.

I'm going to try and write a trip report for anyone interested, but suffice to say WE LOVE WDW!!!!!! :earsboy: :earsgirl: :cool1:

Please do! We leave for our first DCL cruise in 3 wks.

Here I was thinking that no one would know where we're from, but we're from Port Dover. We'll be leaving on the the 5th and my DS12 will be skiing on the 2nd, I agree--NO BROKEN LIMBS!!!! We can't wait. Here's hoping for anything but snow in Florida. :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :hourglass

  :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc We are looking forward to any weather that is not 'snow related'. High teens sounds great to me. Twenties is even better. We leave on the 16th of March--look out Disneyworld we're coming back!!! Yahoo!!!  :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Dutchsmommy - so I assume you finally got your cruise documents! We got ours for our land/sea trip starting this Thursday on Feb 3rd. Actually we were the first of the people on our cruise on the boards to get them (which I thought was pretty good for Canada).

Nice to hear that the weather cooperated. It's still cold here so anything above 10 degrees will me enough for us to wear shorts.

2gr8teens - love Port Dover (it's only 1/2 hour drive) and we go there all the time for an Arbor Dog.

Our only issue right now is trying to keep everyone moderately healthy before we leave. 2 out of the 5 have (actually now 3 as my daughter started this morning) have this wicked sore throat with flu like symptoms. My daughter's best friend threw up in school 3 times yesterday but but daughter was smart enough to not offer any assistance. We are going to my Father's 70th birthday party tonight and I hear that my brother's whole family is in the middle of a stomach virus (flu) and their kids are young enough to not know that they need to wash their hands before they go into the chip bowl (I have already told my kids they only eat food that comes off of the serving tray or straight out of the chip bag into their own bowl). Aside from hiding from the rest of the world I don't know what else to do.

Anyway - keeping my fingers crossed !

Hi again from Paris, Ont. I agree that Arbor Dogs are great. Can't waite until summer. We went on the Disney Western Cruise last Jan./Feb. A little rough here and there. But had a great time. Castaway Cay was soooooooooo so nice. I guess that now its all made over because of huricane. Lot of food.Just a reminder, theres a breakfast buffet every morning. Yes that means you can have Krispy Creams fresh every day.Being home now, we say we did't take enough pictures. Have to go back I guess.
