Orlando Stroller Rentals vs. Magic Strollers

Can anyone provide feedback about these two companies? Has anyone used them both and preferred one over the other? Based on the websites, it looks like they provide the same kinds of strollers, but Magic Strollers seems to be a bit cheaper.

I wondered about the condition of the strollers that you rent, and about the pick up/drop off procedure. Do I need to be present to pick up the stroller from the rep? Or will they just leave it at the resort for me to pick up? I think it would be incredibly hard to time it just right to meet a rep at the resort for pick up and drop off, so I was really hoping to just pick it up whenever.

Any feedback, advice, or personal testimonies about these companies is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I just rented from orlando strollers yesterday online. I've never rented a stroller before from an outside vendor so this will be my first time. I went back and forth between the two sites and while magic strollers was about $6 cheaper for an 8 day rental, i decided to go with Orlando Stroller Rental. ONLY because they let you select a drop off time. We aren't leaving until 10pm on our departure date so we plan on touring that day. We selected a 5PM drop off time. But magic strollers you have to return at 2pm which wouldn't work for us. We also go the insurance for $25. The total came to $115.95 for an 8 day rental double stroller. Plus the insurance. So it comes to about $14.50 a day.

We leave in less than three weeks, i will be glad to give a review upon our return!

I have used Orlando several times and it was fantastic! They deliver the stroller to the hotel and you just pick it up from guest services-- and then leave it at guest services for pick up. Stroller was in excellent shape and made getting around a breeze.

I rented the city-mini double and found it easy to use, storage was nice and it was great to have a place to put all our stuff. Easy to fold... and I got the rain cover just in case and boy was I glad I did!!

Overall, very pleased. Excellent service. I would recommend highly.

However, for us, the edge goes to Magic Strollers - they include the parent organizer (drink holders), which was invaluable to us. Much nicer than trying to juggle a drink and drive a stroller. Magic was also slightly cheaper than Orlando.

Honestly - they were both great, but Magic was a little better for us.

We've used Orlando Stroller Rentals twice and were very happy with their service. You tell them the day/time to drop the stroller off and pick it back up and you don't need to be there when they come. The strollers are great; we rented the double both time. They have lots of storage, are easy to maneuver and fold very easily. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them again on my next trip. Also, I did not get the $25 insurace either time, and had no problems. I don't think it's necessary.

I haven't used both, just Magic -- but as posted above, Magic includes the parent organizer/drink holder AND they also include the rain cover for free. On top of those two things, the actual rental is slightly cheaper.

This is how it worked with Magic (although, I'm sure Orlando does the same thing). They drop off the stroller at bell services at your resort. They (the stroller co.) send you a text message that they've dropped off the stroller as an FYI. You pick up the stroller from bell services. Our city mini was in excellent condition (and so easy to fold). My only complaint is that our stroller was solid black (in the June heat). When you check out, you just drop it off at bell services.

I think you have to look at drop off and pick up times with each company to see what will work best for you, too, but Magic Strollers was awesome.

I have never used Orlando, but used Magic Strollers for the 1st time this year. They were so easy to work with, stroller was in great condition and cleaned (they had a note in the bag giving the name of the person who sanatized the stoller). We loved the "organizer" but the one thing we did not get was a rain cover and I wished I had asked.
My husband and I said it was the best $100 spent and we would do it again!!

Only based on my experience with my Owner's Locker, I wouldn't hesitate to use Magic Strollers if I needed one (same owners). Owner's Locker has the best customer service ever!

Drink holder AND a rain cover for free? Sold! I think this is the best sales pitch for Magic yet. The pick up and drop off times work fine for us, so it looks like I'm going to give Magic a try! If it isn't a great experience, they're always next year, right?

I don't think I knew that Magic Strollers was ran by the same people who run Owner's Locker. I've heard nothing but good things about them, so I'm sure I'll have the same experience with the Stroller side.

I went back and forth between Orlando and Magic last year. The parent organizer and rain cover (we requested, received...and never needed!) swayed me to Magic. We had a great experience (spotless stroller in great condition, there when they said it would be, etc), and have since recommended it to friends who had the same.

We're going again next spring and will use Magic Strollers again.
