Orlando still coping with the aftermath

Sea World is fine. I live across the street from it, and I believe it didn't get any damage (other than a few knocked down trees).

Just back from downtown Orlando and it is pretty ugly down there. Alot of trees down and some areas still without power. It's hard to see huge trees ripped out from the ground and power lines just haning there. Thank goodness for all of those power workers that have left their homes and families to come here and help. I know they are getting paid, and probably getting paid very well but it takes alot to travel all this way and work out in the heat and storms to help Floridians get their power back. I saw one guy on the news last night that was from MN and said that it was 63 up there yesterday....he is out working with the heat in the 90's.....what a great guy he is. Anyways, the theme park area's look pretty good and all parks are up and running. Right now they are still trying to figure out what to do with all the trash from cleanup. Driving downtown you see just piles and piles of wood, leaves and branches. Some piles so huge that they are out into the road and only one car can get through at a time. But the main streets seem ok. If your coming to the area on vacation don't cancel. The parks are fine and running up to speed. Just please be patient with some of the CM's. They are still working regardless of what damage was done to their homes. I was at AK the other day and saw so many people being rude to CM's and other guests. I understand that they had to go through a hurricane when they were down here on vacation but they get to go back to a full standing home, some CM's I am sure have damage dowe that is goig to cost a lot of money to repair.

So I 4 through downtown is ok? I was concerned about that. I 'm going straight down I 95, right through Jacksonville, Daytona, and picking up I 4 past Daytona.

Then you go down I4 and hit downtown. Is downtown ok? I'm used to Philly area traffic, so I'm used to delays.

I-4 is fine. I drove it from Winter Park through Downtown and back to Windermere last night with no problems.
