Orlando Smackdown: Dis vs. Uni. Ch.16 Japan Hates me, Just Hates me 7-13

BackstageGal,

Since we have been supporting your 401K, you may have to support us in our retirement !

All agree ?

Where are you a CM at WDW ?
Sorry, doesnt work that way!

I'm in Finance, so you wont run into me, I stay hidded backstage, LOL.

well, the smidgy truth says "no". they would LOVE suesland, but Ithink that's about it. well, Jasckosn is 7 and loved the thrill rides at disney, is does your DS like coasters?

Thanks Smidgy, that's what I was thinking. DS likes some of the thrill rides, TOT not so much, but I try to get "bang for my buck" so to speak and I think DD1 is not ready yet. Sigh, poor DH, he wants to go to Uni so badly. He has never been and I'm pretty sure he would love it.

And I love the "Smidgy truth"! Somehow I feel I can depend on its accuracy a little more!

Sorry, doesnt work that way!

I'm in Finance, so you wont run into me, I stay hidded backstage, LOL.

This family loves Disney - grew up on Disney.
Even though I work in a school I also worked for many years as a CM
at The Disney Store (PT). Love the perks !
Many CM's at the store went to WDW as CM's and many on the college program.
Just wondered 'cause a very good friend who also worked at TDS lives in FL
and is at Epcot. Our next planned trip is in November for the Wine & Dine Half
Marathon.

Allo? What's all this? A chapter? Well in that case...

Back to work, back to work. Work, work work.

Mel Brooks. Blazing saddles.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMOWYGrtY9c

By the way, how come I keep getting calls asking me if I'd like a lower interest rate when my interest in the calls couldn't possibly rate any lower?

I think I already posted about the time a credit card telemarketer called me offering to give me 6%. I told her that sounded great. She then said after 6 months it would be 8%. "Wow," I told her. "That's even better!" She replied that she thought so too, then told me after a year it was 12.5%. I asked if I could have the 12.5% right away 'cause I could really use the money. It took her a while before she got it.

And Smidgy's not too happy with me,,, right before my tooth surgery,, I took my face off.

Did you turn into John Travolta or Nic Cage? Either way it was a crappy movie.

She doesn't like me without my face,

Makes it to hard to have a conversation. Face to elbow chat? Face to butt?... ew.

I didn't want this stupid bushy thing in the way for the surgeon.

Hunh. I never, ever would've thought of that. Moot point. The DDs won't let me shave the 'stache no matter what.

Feels funny now when I'm outside in the cold and my nose runs right into my mouth. I just said that out loud, didn't I?

Yes. Please stop.

Being resort guests, we get in an hour early for Potterville, and the mob scene I expected wasn't there.

Uni cleared the park for you.

Lessens collateral damage.

But i will definately admit,,, the area is well done and impressive, wish I had taken more pictures now.

Actually, so do I. I've seen a few pictures... but never without it being packed wall to wall with people.

You enter into Hogsmeade, with the school in the background, and it can almost take your breath awaay.

I believe you. As I think you know, Ruby is not a big fan of Disney... (is everyone OK? Can I go on now? Need a minute? That's okay, I'll wait....)

OK?

But she does want to go see Pottertown.

In glass display in a front shop window facing the street are a couple of screaming mandrakes,

Moving? Screaming?? Give mister!

but it's hard to not grab a pack of Every Flavor Bertie's Botts,,, even if you do pick out the vomit.

Check. If I ever get there, I'll pick some up and mail you the vomit ones.

We then worked our way inside the school to Forbidden Journey before it got crowded.

I don't know if I could go on a ride called Forbidden Journey. I mean... it's Forbidden, right? I'll have paid a lot to go and wouldn't want to get kicked out.

I have to tell you, I am the worst person to try and critique this entire area,,, I could not see squat inside.

Too bad. I've heard some interesting things about it.

Our plan is for me to ride it,,, and then be honest in my asessment as to whether she can ride it,,, then if yes,, do it again.

So what happens if you assess she can't ride it... but you want to ride it again?

Diane relinquishes me to a young girl cast member, telling her,, "He can't see, he needs help getting to the car" with promises that all will be ok.

Recipe for disaster. Just add pain.

I then narrowly avoided a major fall when she pulled me onto an unknown by Smidgy or me, moving walkway running parallel to the cars. Boy, when you aren't expecting that,,,, it get's your attention.

I winced when I read that. I thought, "What a perfect way to throw your back out, trying to catch yourself."

:sad2:

She turned to me; "What, you didn't see that?"

Oh, okay. It's your fault. When you said you couldn't see, you forgot to add "like" and "OMG". She probably just couldn't understand you.

And i'm sure they would have been really cool if I could have seen them. But the car itself was incredible,,, the range of motion it had did just about everything but turn you completely upside down, but I could tell this ride had the potential to be something really special if I could see it,, and I couldn't wait to try to do it at night.

Sounds cool! Just one thing. Does the car essentially stay in the same place, like Star Tours or does it move into other rooms/areas?

When I met Smidgy at the exit,,, I told her that if I gave the GO sign to ride it,,, she'd never talk to me again, she breathed a sigh of relief

:lmao: I would've thought the opposite. There's Smidgy, hoping... oh, so hoping that she could go... When the opposite is true!

Wish I could tell you what it was though,,,,oh, I know what it was,,, it was pitch black, that's what it was.

Oooh.... Using your imagination show. Cool.

And one guy was chosen from the group to let the "wand choose the owner".

"One guy"? There were no kids there? I thought it was always a kid that got picked?

From there it was over to the Dragon Challenge,,, and I'm getting a bit tired of being led by kids trying to inflict bodily harm on me. But it's been a long time since I rode this and I've gotten a taste for coasters again. And again, no points awarded for there's no comparison.

But is it good? Would you say it's better then BTMRR or EE? 'Cmon man! Throw me a freaking bone! :rotfl:

The walkway here also brings you past Hagrid's Hut,,,which looked pretty cool,,, but I'm surprised it's so well hidden.

Could you go in? Or just a facade?

It's a cute ride though Seuss land,

Awww... Nebo thought it was 'cute'. Don'tcha wanna just give the big lug a big squeeze?

We were the only ones on it this early,, and I asked the attendant how long the ride lasted.

She told me 4 minutes and 38 seconds.
I told her I wanted something more specific,, not just a round figure number.

She was flustered for a moment,, then just stared at me.

:lmao: I love that look. When you get that dumbfounded stare, you know you've done good. Unless of course somebody wants $24.99 and you hand them a ten and two fives and tell 'em to keep the penny.

Oh boy, it's gonna be parking lot views for a long time now at Disney.

Nah.

You'll be in the parking lot.

Do I dare say that the charm of the Dr. Suess Carousel and intricasies of the horses and ride characters blows away Prince Charming Carousel in Fanatasyland?

I tripple dog dare you?

Whoops... Breach of etiquette.

only WAY mor fun trying it figure out the song to avoid getting squirted!

That sounds like a blast!

No pun intended.

So now that I've ticked all the Disney phobes off,,, saying goodnight now.

Nah. I for one am not ticked off. The way I look at it. If Uni doesn't push Disney... we don't get expansions.

Thanks for the chapter, dude! :goodvibes

We will never never ever get back together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a Swift reply!

Don't listen to Nebo, folks, Disney has much better atmosphere and better (higher) prices. Higher is better, right?

Oh, sure. Higher is always better. Higher gas prices, higher hydro, higher taxes, higher....

Excuse me. I have to go sit in the corner, rock back and forth while hugging my knees and muttering, no,no,no,no,no... over and over again.

Oh don't worry Marita! I'm doing everything I can do to ensure you have a good retirement! :rotfl:

Yeah. That's it. That's the reason we keep going back. Yeah. Absolutely.

Yeah.

note the date on the bottom of the photos.. hmm, is it someone's birthday?

I did! Happy Birthday Tina Turner!

Just kidding... Happy Birthday Charles Schultz! Who doesn't love the Peanuts gang???

Ok, still kidding.

Happy Birthday Rich Little!

I said, "there's a picture of gandalf up there talking to us!" :lmao: oops.

:lmao:

Too bad he didn't stop and look at you with a frown on his face or something.

even thought they hear me saying "ok sharp left, soft right, uturn to the left," they are so impatient!

Sorry to hear about that. Too bad there isn't some way to indicate he's having trouble.

Yeah, a white cane would do it, but I don't think Nebo's quite at that stage. Wish I could think of some magic way to help you folks out.

so I'm glad Ididn't do FJ.. yeah, I missed an experience. I imagine there will be many expereinces in life I will miss. I don't liek experiences that make me go:eek:!

About 5 years ago, I had a chance to do some fund raising where if you raised enough funds you could go skydiving for free. I thought, "Win/win." I always wanted to try it. This wasn't one of those tandem jumps. You had to step out of the plane, hang onto the wing strut, then let go. Your chute was supposed to automatically open. They trained you on what to do if the chute didn't open or the lines got tangled.

Well.... I did it once and it scared the hell out of me.

But I didn't want to let fear decide for me whether or not I could/should do it.

So I did it again.

Yup. Just as scary the second time around.

Oh, and did I mention that both... both! times the lines were tangled? :sad2:

Been there, done that.

I've reached that point where if I don't want to do something.... I'm just not going to do it. And I'm not going to feel bad about it either.

the wand shop was ok, we only had a 5 minutes or so wait. the shopkeeper picked 2 kids, and the wands he tried did weird stuff if it wasn't supposed to be their wand.

Ah! So he did pick kids.

lots of cool stuff in the gift shop after. nothing worth the price, though! the wands are about $30!!!

Can anyone say $30 paperweight?

Keith and I put a hurtin' on that rum bottle we had.

:lmao:

all those bright colors!! and the up and down! and the around!!! sure is hard to hide a hangover:headache: on that ride! (and hide it I try, as Nebo gets angry with me when I drink too much:(:rolleyes1)

Pot? Kettle. Good to know ya.

(General Barker):
"Nice touch."

With full pack.

Um,,, YOU have DVC points......:wave2::hyper::lovestruc:hippie::love:

:lmao:

Hey,, how about that cute picture that Ponzi posted on his caption Disney picture web site?

Thanks for the plug.

Hi Nebo and Smidgy. Remember me? I'm T_Man's sister, Lady H's sister in law. Just wanted to drop in and say hi :)

Bunny's sister? You had to live with him?

Oh, dear.

My condolences.

Umm... Mike look, I recorded the victoria secret show. Don't you want to watch that instead of reading Nebos TR?

That should keep him busy for a while...

Can I come over? You know... to visit... and if you happen to be watching the show at the time, well... who am I to interrupt?

That would be rude.

I do !I do!! I enjoyed watching the jingle Jungle Parade with you!! you and your brother have some CRAZY bets!!!:rotfl:

That sounds interesting.

Standing by.

Yeah. That's it. That's the reason we keep going back. Yeah. Absolutely.

Yeah.

Ponzi, you ae so sweet!

Thanks for looking out for my retirement

Going to comment on a few things on your recent chapter.

Back to work, back to work. Work, work work.

Glad to hear your back is in working order once again.

And Smidgy's not too happy with me,,, right before my tooth surgery,, I took my face off.
She doesn't like me without my face,, especially the one that's left with no hair on it..Sorry,,, I didn't want this stupid bushy thing in the way for the surgeon. I start out going for the Sam Elliott look, and end up like Wilfred Brimley. not good,, so I made it go aaway.

Smidgy and Lady H have something in common then. I usually grow a beard in winter and shave it off as it gets warmer. I have to give advanced notice of when I plan to shave it off so it's not much of a shock.

Being resort guests, we get in an hour early for Potterville, and the mob scene I expected wasn't there.
But i will definately admit,,, the area is well done and impressive, wish I had taken more pictures now.

I know a few people that recently went to Potterland as well. They took lots of pictures and would be willing to share them with your viewing audience. Would you like me to post them? I can post them tonight. I just need to upload our pictures first.

I don't think Disney could have done this land better,, much to see all around you,,, and stuff you can easily pass up if you're in a hurry. In glass display in a front shop window facing the street are a couple of screaming mandrakes, in another store don't get your fingers too close to the Book of Monsters, and the chocolate frogs and butterbeers are not cheap either, but it's hard to not grab a pack of Every Flavor Bertie's Botts,,, even if you do pick out the vomit.

Chocolate frogs are a little expensive, but man it takes forever to eat one of those things it seems like. I love the chocolate wands. Frozen butterbeer is better than the non-frozen, but Hogshead Beer is the best. Ask Lady H, she'll tell you.

100_2213.jpg

We then worked our way inside the school to Forbidden Journey before it got crowded.

Were you hoping to enroll into magic classes?

Now on our recent trip, it was not crowded at all. We went in 2010, the year it first opened. We went 4 months later and lines were still crazy. This trip, it was practically a walk on. What a difference 2 years makes.

I have to tell you, I am the worst person to try and critique this entire area,,, I could not see squat inside.

I have pictures of the inside to. I can show you what you missed.

It was worse than POTC, the difference is that there's stuff going on, and Harry And Dubledore and the rest of them talking to you. Even if the ride is walk on,, it will stil take you 15 minutes to work your way back there to the boarding area.

Dumbledore talking to you? Couldn't be. He died. Snape killed him and..... Right, it's all about magic.

At the boarding stage,, once again, Diane relinquishes me to a young girl cast member, telling her,, "He can't see, he needs help getting to the car" with promises that all will be ok.

I then narrowly avoided a major fall when she pulled me onto an unknown by Smidgy or me, moving walkway running parallel to the cars. Boy, when you aren't expecting that,,,, it get's your attention.

Just like getting onto Rip Ride Rock-It.

The ride itself is an incredible simulator on a moving track, with movie type screens popping up surrounding you as you basically fly through the set pieces.

And i'm sure they would have been really cool if I could have seen them. But the car itself was incredible,,, the range of motion it had did just about everything but turn you completely upside down, but I could tell this ride had the potential to be something really special if I could see it,, and I couldn't wait to try to do it at night.

It really does help when you can see. Yes, there are movie screens with scenes, there are also non-movie props as well that come at you. Dementors, spiders, dragons and the whomping willow to name a few.

Afterward, we then waited in linie for Olivander's Wand Shop,,, a short show goes on almost continuously in there.
Wish I could tell you what it was though,,,,oh, I know what it was,,, it was pitch black, that's what it was.
Never did see the wand maker,, but I heard him.
And one guy was chosen from the group to let the "wand choose the owner". Maybe Smidgy can tell you more about what it was that I saw but didn't.

This is the first time we went into Olivander's wand shop as well. Line was always more than an hour wait. Never interested enough to wait that long for what is probably only a 5 minute show. You didn't miss much. It is quite cute to see once if you've never seen it, but I wouldn't do it again.

As for FJ,,, no, no points can be awarded here,,, Disney has nothing at all similar to make a comparison at all.

Sum of All Thrills would be kinda close, but FJ would still take it by a land slide.

This seems to be a popular pic everyone needs to take. Lady H and I have pics with us in front of the Hogwarts Express also.

From there it was over to the Dragon Challenge,,, and I'm getting a bit tired of being led by kids trying to inflict bodily harm on me. But it's been a long time since I rode this and I've gotten a taste for coasters again. And again, no points awarded for there's no comparison.

Did you ride both tracks, or just one? I really dislike that they no longer run both cars at the same time. Both coasters are fun, but it was more fun when they would both go at the same time. The way it was designed to run.

We then did, what used to be the Flying Unicorn,, but is now the Hippogriff,,, which is a basic entry level coaster that lasts lwss than a minute and a half..

This was Lady H's favorite coaster of the trip.

This may not be a fair comparison,,, but it's a step up from the Barnstormer at Disney,,,, sorry,,, Uni- 6 Dis-2.

Never did Barnstormer, so I'll take your word for it.

The walkway here also brings you past Hagrid's Hut,,,which looked pretty cool,,, but I'm surprised it's so well hidden.

I was hoping Hagrid's hut would've been a little more than just a storage unit.

Then we moved back into Suess land, it is so festive here, and the main gates were now open for everybody to charge to Potterville, and rode the High in the Sky trolley, which is on it's 3 named change I think now.

We skipped Suess land this trip. Well at least the rides. We walked through to see all the Christmas decorations though. We rode all the rides on our 2010 trip and decided to skip them this round.

The Cat is a little bit longer,, but Pooh has the interactive waiting line.

Forgot Pooh had the new interactive queue. We skipped over it. I'll have to try and remember 4 years down the line, to go on it.

Do I dare say that the charm of the Dr. Suess Carousel and intricasies of the horses and ride characters blows away Prince Charming Carousel in Fanatasyland? 8-3

I triple dog dare you.

I know Ponzi already said it, but it was funny movie scene and line worth repeating.

One thing we didn't do this trip was the stunt show in The Lost Continent,,, and we all know it's never a good thing to be incontinent,,, the Sinbad and his 7 Voyages Stunt show. There's a reason we missed it this time. It SUCKS!
Indy or the Lights, Motors, Action blow it away,,, this show is like watching a bunch of teenagers goof around.

If rumors are correct, this may not be around too much longer. Think they're getting rid of it for the HP expansion.

So now that I've ticked all the Disney phobes off,,, saying goodnight now.

You really shouldn't be throwing ticks on anybody, much less the Disney fans. They're really hard to pick out you know.

Thanks for the update.

Just got back last night from 8 days at the World so I have a lot of catching up to do! Am at work trying to slog through everything they left for me to do, so it won't be today.

Just wanted to note that as we were awaiting our bus back to the airport, someone said something about "Magical Express" and I said, "No, on the way back it's called Magical Depress" and it got a big laugh. I looked around to see if anyone would point at me and yell, "Hey, that's Nebo's line!" but they didn't so I happily stole the acclaim for myself.

note the date on the bottom of the photos.. hmm, is it someone's birthday?

Are you sure he had the right date on the camera? :rotfl: You know how he tends to enter the wrong date.

I didn't think there was that much nebo missed in hogwarts, really, the whole green house was kinda boring, nothing much to look at. at one point dumbledoor talked to us, and I stopped.nebo wondered why I was stopping, and I said, "there's a picture of gandalf up there talking to us!" :lmao: oops.

Got our movies a little mixed up did we? Don't worry, LoTR may be coming to Uni as well. Then it will be a common mistake for everyone.

sometimes I dislike it when you can zip through the lines with no wait, cause everyone expects us to zip through the lines! even thought they hear me saying "ok sharp left, soft right, uturn to the left," they are so impatient! we often just say, "go on ahead," but more often than not, you get to the part in the line near the front where everyone is stopped, and so are the people we let ahead, (who were sighing loudly or stepping on our heels)just stopped waiting, but now in front of us. we experiment later with the universal version of GAC. tell ya about it then.

Did you know that you can do a walking tour through FJ? When it first opened, I didn't know about this. I learned from the Universal threads about this. This allows you to walk through the queue at your own pace. Lady H and I did this while D'Sis was off riding Hulk. Something to maybe consider on your next trip to Uni.

we both just LOVE suessland.. so colorfyul and cheery. the one time we rode the caroussel though, I didn't care for it... good reason! a couple we knew from karaokee flew down to meet us for the Universal portion of our trip. the night before, we did karaokee at Capt. Jacks (the bar at our resort, Royal Pacific. then keith came back to our room, and nebo wisely quit drinking, but Keith and I put a hurtin' on that rum bottle we had.

his girlfriend debbie really wanted to ride the carousel. all those bright colors!! and the up and down! and the around!!! sure is hard to hide a hangover:headache: on that ride! (and hide it I try, as Nebo gets angry with me when I drink too much:(:rolleyes1)

And this what we call having a good time.

My 401k loves that Uni is winning out. :) Although my heart is with Disney, Potterland is FANTASTIC. Can't wait for the rumored expansion of Diagon Alley. I need to get over there for another visit soon.

Jill in CO

I can hardly wait until they finish the expansions as well. We love both Uni and Disney equally. Each are unique in their own way. Nebo is being brave comparing one to the other. I often tell people to not go to Uni and compare it to Disney. If you do, you will not have a good time. Enjoy each for what it has to offer.

Hi Nebo and Smidgy. Remember me? I'm T_Man's sister, Lady H's sister in law. Just wanted to drop in and say hi :)

Welcome D'Sis.

Welcome-MickeyApprentice.gif

Posting to Nebo's thread before posting to ours huh? I'll remember that when it's time to go to Orlando again. :rolleyes1

I do !I do!! I enjoyed watching the jingle Jungle Parade with you!! you and your brother have some CRAZY bets!!!:rotfl:

I don't see what is crazy about riding a roller coaster 100 times in one day. People do it all the time, don't they?

We were with D'Sis yesterday while she was signing up for the Dis. Lady H forgot for a moment that you and my sister snuck off to watch the parade. Not to spoil the TR or anything, but that was a smart moving pawning off Nebo on us like that.

I do !I do!! I enjoyed watching the jingle Jungle Parade with you!! you and your brother have some CRAZY bets!!!:rotfl:

I don't see what is crazy about riding a roller coaster 100 times in one day. People do it all the time, don't they?

Glad you posted this and not me. This way you're the one that gets in trouble.

Did you turn into John Travolta or Nic Cage? Either way it was a crappy movie.

::yes::

Actually, so do I. I've seen a few pictures... but never without it being packed wall to wall with people.

I have some pics from our first trip and our most recent trip. I can do before and after pics if people want me to.

I believe you. As I think you know, Ruby is not a big fan of Disney... (is everyone OK? Can I go on now? Need a minute? That's okay, I'll wait....)

OK?

But she does want to go see Pottertown.

Pottertown? Never heard of it. Is that some new place in Canada? If you ever go there, let me know if it's anything like Islands of Adventure's - Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Lady H and myself may want to go and check it out.

Too bad. I've heard some interesting things about it.

Sounds cool! Just one thing. Does the car essentially stay in the same place, like Star Tours or does it move into other rooms/areas?

I'm interested in Nebo's answers here, especially since he couldn't see.

But is it good? Would you say it's better then BTMRR or EE? 'Cmon man! Throw me a freaking bone! :rotfl:

Here Ponzi, Ponzi, Ponzi. Come and get it boy.

Again I'll wait and see what Nebo says before offering my opinion.

Could you go in? Or just a facade?

Unfortunately just a facade. I think they use it for storage.

Nah. I for one am not ticked off. The way I look at it. If Uni doesn't push Disney... we don't get expansions.

Seems its the other way around, Disney pushing Uni. Uni is coming up with some awesome stuff lately.

Bunny's sister? You had to live with him?

Oh, dear.

My condolences.

Ah, thank you Ponzi. If anyone would understand I knew it would be you. You have no idea.......

Wait a minute. Who were you sending condolences to?

Can I come over? You know... to visit... and if you happen to be watching the show at the time, well... who am I to interrupt?

That would be rude.

You can come over anytime you like. Just know the required admission fee is at least a 750 ml bottle of tequila (rum, vodka and crown royal will suffice as well) or a case of beer. Ladies get in free.

You're my first and you don't even know my name!? I see how it is.

Yep, little sister fits in just perfect around here!

Umm... Mike look, I recorded the victoria secret show. Don't you want to watch that instead of reading Nebos TR?

That should keep him busy for a while...

Here's hoping....

Since its recorded, I can watch it later. This TR got interesting all of a sudden. And I'm not referring to Potterville.

Ok, now be reasonable,, and put the chain saw down, Smidgy was with me at all times,,,oh,, that's nott gonna work either, is it? I mean in front of lots of people,, you know, in PUBIC!

There, that should diffuse the sittchyashun,,,right?

well, the smidgy truth says "no". they would LOVE suesland, but Ithink that's about it. well, Jasckosn is 7 and loved the thrill rides at disney, is does your DS like coasters?

Ach, Mein Gott, I could not disagree more!
yes,, Uni doesn't have a big "kiddy" area,, but so many attractions are geared for both parents and kids.
lets see;
for example,,,studios;
Animals on stage
E. T.
Men in Black
Twister
Disaster
Betlejuice grave yard
Gory Grusome Show
Shrek 3-D
Despicable Me..

Kids woulld love all of these,,, not to mention the kiddy area Woody's land,, or whatever it is.

then,, at Islands:

Well, she acknowledged Suess land,
Jurrasic park is for kids
Two water rides ,,,,a flume and a raft ride;
the spinning Storm Acceleratron,, or whtever it is,,
Spiderman!
But you can spend a lot of time in Suess land if you take your time,,, the interactive walkways by the lake are pretty ccool,,,,,provided you dn't run up against the guy that refuses to step aside to let you pass.

And I love the "Smidgy truth"! Somehow I feel I can depend on its accuracy a little more!

Wait, excuse me, did my ears just see what they thought? Can we talk copyright infringement here?

Well,,, the hits just keep on coming, don't they,,,, I may stop your adoption proceedings now, and me and your hubby spend a weekend at Universal

Wait.. What? Whoa.. I'm going at the same time! Where are you (Mony) staying?

Yes, I am still woefully behind, but I'll get there. I just keep reading!

We are going sans the kids!!!! :hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper: one for each kid.

We are staying at Coronado, per the ticker..........:rolleyes2

DH is flying down the 6th for meetings, I am flying down the 8th and we meet up on the 9th.

Such a bummer I could not get a value room for the 8th. Can WDW be that booked? I had to get a room at a marriot next to the airport. I have a free voucher and the marriots near DTD are out of award rooms. I have a code and all of WDW rooms are booked for my code unless I want to pay 700 for a night at a Deluxe with code. Crazy!

You do realize we are going during cheerleading competitions, right?

Heard a rumor there was a new chapter...:confused3

About time!

Even seeing the pics does not make me interested in going to Uni.
We are Disney all the way !
Nebo, after your last post - no one will rent you DVC points again -
so do not worry about a parking lot view.

We are going to Uni this trip. I promise to justify the wacked rating scale we are being subjected to. I think he hit his head way to hard last trip. 9-4. :faint:

The last time Tim and I went to Uni, we just got engaged. Should be fun!

BTW. Who just passed her exit interview? This chick! The supervisor who lead the interview was in tears and said to the group of 5: I am proud that you all represent what WSU stands for. I have two days left of student teaching and all the weight of the world lifted off of my shoulders! Feels great!
