Allrighty now.
I am just finishing loading all my ups into P-Bucket, I didn't think I took all that many pictures but with the holiday decos, and Diane making sure I got them, I guess I did.
Right now though, the problem with getting a decent start on the trip comes down to pages, as in 850 of them, and you can blame Stephen King for that. It seems like
I've been reading non stop for 3 days and I'm not even half way through 11-22-63. I've always been a rather slow reader, and as the eyes got worse, so did my speed rating.
Evelyn Woods would not be pleased with me, but Ii'm not stopping now.
It's funny that first Diane told me to tough it out when it hits a really slow part, and then without knowing she said that, Ponzi said the same thing, so as I'm reading now, I keep wondering, "oh, is this that part?" because a LOT of it is truly a "character study", and can get boring at times.
Sometimes I think Steve needs a tad of editting to his works, and speaking of editting, can you believe that Peter Jackson is stretching out what was a rather slim, children's book, The Hobbit, into 3, count 'em, THREE Movies?
By the way, I have always tried to keep our life on the DIS as a sort of escapism from work, problems, basic life in general, especially politics. But I feel like I would be a jerk to not at least mention what happened today in Connecticutt, my mind can't seem to grasp how someone, anyone, could do something like that, I'm sure your prayers will be like mine tonight.
