Orlando Sanford?

Has anyone flown to Orlando Sanford? My sister is arriving at 8:30 pm and wondered what is the cheapest way to get her to the Polynesian?

The cheapest way is to walk. It will take 2 days. Hitchhiking is also free but is hit-or-miss.

The next cheapest is to rent a car for day and drop it at a rental facility on Disney property.

Short of that a car service is a bit cheaper than a taxi but definitely not cheap. Orlando-Sanford is 45-minutes to an hour drive to Disney World.

One more question. Where are all the drop off spots? I checked the website and I saw one was the Swan/Dolphin and another was the Hilton. Just to have an idea for whichever rental company she goes through.

Alamo and National (sister companies) are in the Car Care Center near MK. Both have locations at Orlando Sanford International Airport.

We flew into Sanford for our December WDW trip. We used Happy Limo, which is recommended by MouseSavers and AllEars.net, to get to WDW. We needed round trip service, and the price of town car and renting a car were about the same. Our plane was delayed an hour, so we were late arriving at Sanford. Our driver monitors arrival times and was waiting for us when we FINALLY got there. We were picked up from our resort about 2-1/2 hours before our flight time on the return. It took a full hour to go between Sanford and WDW both times. Sanford is a small airport that is very easy to navigate.

National also has a place at The BV Palace in DTD it is quicker than the Swan/Dolphin. It is just a quick walk from the DTD Market Place Bus Stop. And it was cheaper las time we used National.
