We flew TransMeridian (tmair.com) out of Syracuse to Sanford. We found the airport to be very simple to navigate, and rented from Dollar onsite. The counter is inside the terminal, and then we had to go across the street to pick up the keys and the car. It's hard to say how long it took to get into Orlando because we got lost ( never been to Florida before, and God forbid that my husband actually ask for directions!). I would guess it is about 45-50 mins from Crossroads area, where our hotel was. To go straight to Disney property might be 10 -15 mins more.
