Was thinking of going here shopping during our trip.

Anyone been before ?

Thanks

Yes i love going there, i love the ralpn lauren shop, and timberland. And the best thing ever is the fudge shop OMG how nice it is but expensive, i always get three slices when i shop at outlets.

We have been a few times before :) I've bought plenty of stuff in the Nike Outlet but I struggle to think of many other places that appeal to me.

It's definitely worth a visit though as it's so convenient to get to from WDW and there is plenty of selection for more hardened shoppers than myself :teeth:

If you haven't already found it they have a website here.. http://www.premiumoutlets.com/outlets/outlet.asp?id=17

Was there anywhere in particular that you were thinking of visiting here?

It is across from the nice Publix, there is the Character Premiere there (it's owned by Disney and sells many items at clearance prices).

we visit each year, Ian normally spends lots in the Nike, Adidas and Tommy Hillfiger stores, we have found it to be hit and miss, 2005 we spent quite a bit there while last year the selections were poor. Worth a visit though

We  Premium Outlets!!!!!

Sign up on their website and you can print off special offers for many of the stores. DH loves the Timberland - I have to stop him buying more shoes and jackets each time! :rotfl: My favs would be Nike, Tommy Hilfiger and Guess but there are lots of other smaller stores which are great too.

Normally we are lucky enough with the stores (ie plenty we want) but in February the Tommy Hilfiger store just didn't have much - like all outlet places it can be hit and miss but definately worth a visit :thumbsup2

Anyone not been before? :thumbsup2
probably 95% off UK travellers visit here.
Make sure you register with the VIP lounge on their website, its free and you can print vouchers off like 20% off anything at Reebok, valid even on already discounted offers. We got trainers at Easter for £15/pair with voucher.
We dont do shopping but like to go to get some trainers and visit Disney Discount shop.

Meeeeeeee.

Nothing unusual there, that goes with everywhere in Florida

Im not a shopping person, but I have my list drawn up (it's getting gradually bigger :eek: ) of things I must get over there;

A good pair of trainers
A pair of Timbies
Oakley sunglasses
Some replica kits (especially Tampa Bay Devilrays gear for our visit to watch them)

Then there is the usual shorts and t-shirts etc.

For once, im actually looking forward to going shopping :rotfl:

We go , struggle to get DW away from it,
Morning glory i bought Oakleys last year, sunglass hut and others did not have the ones that i wanted so went to the Oakleys shop in Florida Mall, had them there and more than happy with the price, 50% cheaper than here for the same glasses

Premium Outlets can be a hit and miss shopping experience, bear in mind many of the goods are out of season or did not sell initially at the bigger stores.

Sportswear is particularly good value for money and if you need that last minute suitcase for all that extra shopping this is the place to buy from.

We:love: the Premium Outlet Mall (so much better than the Beltz shopping area) and the food court is very good value for money and great for resting those tired feet:lmao: (don't worry there are restrooms there too) We've booked a shopping trip on our holiday which will stop there, we've not done a shopping trip like that since '98 so we don't consider ourselves shopaholics just yet ;) but we are looking forward to it:thumbsup2

We enjoyed it here but it isn't as big as the one near New York that I have been to so found it a little disappointing! Did get some good Nike gear, a gorgeously cheap handbag and purse from Coach and the nicest S'mores in the fudge shop!

Prime outlets are spending a fortune on the refurb up on the old Belz site. We had a look at Easter(Still a good Disney outlet up there sometimes better than Premium) When its all done hopefully they will attract the shops to compete with Premuim and take some of the traffic away.

Was at the premium outlet mall last week, got some cheap corc mary janes. DH got some timberland shoe in black for $50 - he paid £80 for the brown ones a week before we went away, he was  I was :rotfl:
The disney store is not good, if you're looking for your disney souveniers do not wait until going to this store the t-shirts have '06 all over them and the quality of the stuff I looked at was poor (PJ's for the kids) with all twisted seams.
I found it to be very good for kids clothes and mens but not for myself, the banana republic was very miss rather than hit, same with the GAP store. I bought my youngest some really good Teva (good walking brand) sandals for $18 dollars which over here if you can get them would be at least £25.
We were staying just across the road at the Sheraton so it was very convenient for us.
We also went to to the Mall at Millenia which is like a small scale (if you're from the south) Bluewater with higher end stores (A&F, Lacoste etc) the food court there was quite nice.
We also went to the Florida Mall completely by accident although we didn't get much time there is was HUGE and I think this would be my favourite given more time there (proper dept stores). The disney store there was really good and I got a few bargains in there, and the stuff was much nicer than in the parks! There is a whole double size store devoted to M&M sweets which I had read about on the boards here - didn't go in though....
HTH :thumbsup2

Like all Outlets its hit and miss with Disney. Sometimes we go in and spend nothing, others times we can spend over $100. You have to go often, they change the stock every day. Also the one up at Prime can have better stuff than Premium. Worst one is the outlet on SR535 but again sometimes they have things in.
