So how exactly does it work? I was looking on line(I have sent away for one, have not received it yet). They have peak season and not peak season LOL..rates.
When you go to the individual website the rates are higher. So when you call to make a reservation, do you tell them you have a magic card? We will be there June 18-24, so I know that is peak season.Will they automatically give you the rate from Magic card?

Yes, you tell them you have the Magicard when you call and make the reservation and they will give you the published magicard rate (unless they decided not to extend their affiliation with the Magicard after 2/28/07 - which is when the current rates are guaranteed until). You'll have to put the first night on a credit card anyway, so you'll know that you are getting the right rate. You will have to bring the magicard with you to show them. As you get closer to your trip, you can always go back to orlandoinfo.com/magicard to see if there are any special last minute rates.

This program has been going on for years and years and I don't see any reason that they would stop it this year.

with Orlando having to advertise - I would definitely count on the magiccard to be around for quiet a while.

what they did before was just black out certain days. but they haven't done that since 1999.
