Has anyone else ever run into this issue? The Orlando Magicard advertises this hotel for specific rates and also lists the specific dates for the off-peak, peak, and holiday seasons. When I called the hotel, I was told that they consider anything from Feb. to Sept. "peak," which is clearly in contrast to the Magicard, where out dates were "off-peak." They would not honor what the Magicard brochure states. I called the Magicard, and they said that the hotel is not correct, but they can't do anything about it. My husband is an attorney (criminal) and he says this is a classic example of bait and switch. I did note the name of the managers from the hotel (Summer Bay) and also from the Magicard (not working today)...they will both be in tomorrow. I will follow up on the matter, but am wondering how far I will actually get. This CANNOT be the first time this has happened, and I imagine that most people just take it stride and pay the higher rate....but these kind of things bother me so I guess I will call them tomorrow (Monday). Anybody ever had this happen to them? Thanks in advance!

Yep, September is peak season. When you can ride some things all by yourself, walk onto Tower of Terror & the Fastpass machines aren't even running!

Best of luck resolving this to your satisfaction! You may not have any real recourse, and legal action would certainly not be worth ithe cost. There are plenty of places to stay, most of them with great deals.
