Orlando Magic w/Transfers Excursion...

Has anyone done one of these tours? I wanted to go to a game and rang a few taxi companies and were being quoted $45 e/w taxi ride, so decided to book and excursion for £59 that picks me up from my hotel, my ticket and brings me back....has anyone done one of these? Are they any good?

90 dollars seems very steep. ring mears direct. however, i went to see the magic v.cavaliers. picked up outside holiday inn i-drive, went on a bus full of brits, excellent atmosphere on the bus, few beers inside, excellent atmosphere inside the arena. the bus is outside the arena waiting for you, great trip back, even had a bit of singing. (i am welsh!!) by all means go in a taxi, but youre only going to get an individual experience. which of course, may suit. for a full-on atmosphere, get on the bus. pay your 59 quid. you will love it.

I phoned Mears Direct and they were quoting $85 plus tip. I booked the excursion and am really looking forward to it, will be a single passanger for the day as I couldnt convince family to come, but it sounds really good. I like the sound of a few beers and a great atmosphere!!!

We went in 2003 and booked it at our Virgin Welcome Meeting with transport. I can't remember how much it cost but I know it was an amazing experience!! Fantastic! Loved the game, loved the hot dog and me and DH even got on the big screen when they flash around into the crowd - we had to kiss under the screen mistletoe - so much fun!!

AhhH I cant wait, bein a regular visitor to the emirates to watch arsenal ive never experienced a lively experience at a game, so i cant wait!

Depending on where you are staying, you could have got a £2 Lynx bus back. That's what I done last week when I went to the game against the Hawks.

Also, another tip to anyone wanting to go is to use an Amex card to buy them through ticketmaster. You can get them for half price. I got tickets for $20 which would have cost $40+$10 in fees. The code is AMEX.

I looked at the Lynx but didnt really fancy getting it back at 10-11pm at night as Ive heard a few dodgy stories about it, but saying that ive also heard some good stories where people have had no problems. But I just thought ive got virtual door to door transport, a ticket for the game and hopefully plenty of good banter to and from the game!
