Orlando Magic basketball, anyone been?

Hi all,

I'm trying to find out how and where to book tickets to watch Orlando Magic play this April. Has anyone done this before? What did you think of the experience? What price are tickets? Where is it at? Do they even play in April?

Loads of questions, i know

My Dh really wants to do this, (i prefer baseball personaly, shhhhhh... )

Any info will be much appreciated thanks

We have seen a match in Orlando and booked the tickets on Ticketmaster from the UK. Got to choose exactly where to sit and enjoyed it.

To be honest you will not be able to see a match live unless Orlando get to be in the playoffs and if they do their supporters will fill the place up as it is like being in the FA cup final.


You will get to see plenty of the playoff matches on TV though which is all that my husband watches when he is there.

We went to a Magic game in January last year. It was our first (and thus far, only) experience of a live American sporting event. We absolutely loved it and would go back in a heartbeat. The atmosphere was electric and there wasn't a moment when there wasn't some sort of entertainment going on. They sure know how to put on their spectator sports!

They play at Amway Arena which is in Downtown Orlando. We managed to get great seats through RazorGator where season ticket holders sell on tickets for games they can't get to. They turned up very quickly after ordering. The closer it gets to the finals (which are, I think, usually in April), the harder it will be to snag tickets.

Oh I hope there is a game on when we are there in Aug/Sept we would love to go and take DS as he loves it and we go to home games here on a Friday.

We're going in April, Audrey! On April 10th to be exact and Orlando Magic are playing the NY Knicks so can't wait!!!!

Should be an easy win for the Magic I would guess - a home win's always good to attend

Unless they play pre-season games that early, then you'll be out of luck as the regular season starts in November.
