I'm heading to WDW in at the start of February. People I know in Florida say how cold it will be then, but coming from Ireland (wet, windy weather in February), surely it couldn't be worse. Can anyone from this side of the world let me know what it will be like then?

Hi Big Disney Fan

I havent been to WDW in February - but did a quick search for you and found this previous thread which gives some good info about the weather at that time of year.
Weather Thread

and also our very own Fiona has been during February and here is a link to most of her Trip Reports (we are still awaiting the final instalments ;) ) Reports here!

Hope these help you :D

Hi Janice
Thank you so much for your reply and the links are great. It's good to get a 'weather opinion' from someone from Ireland / UK rather than from the US - at least I know what to expect now.

This site is FABULOUS  - by far the best Disney discussion board I've come across so far.

I look forward to plenty of chats before I leave - and I'll make sure to post my opinions when I come back.

Thanks again.

Catherine.

I've been twice in February and the weather was lovely. It is cooler in the early morning and evening - may need a sweater some days - but during the main part of the day it was very warm. We went to the water parks every day around lunchtime and also swam in the villa pool every day.
We went President's week which is quite busy but not too bad but the weeks around it are very quiet.

We go every year for Presidents week(3rd week in Feb) and either the week before or after, we love it. it has been everything from 85 degrees to cold and frosty. This year was by far the worst 2 days of cold rain and 2 of frost but clear skies, the other days we swam -even in the sea!- and wore shorts and T-shirts. Hopefull 2003 will be blanket sunshine.
PS we're from central Scotland so used to the cold & wet.

I'd just like to say Hi to you Catherine :) ........ welcome aboard :) !

Hiya Catherine, welcome to our World :)

As has been said, February can be cold, particulalry morning and late evening but the daytime weather is generally quite hot by our standards. A selection of clothes will provide for all occasions but you'll be mainly in shorts and t shirts.

Thanks for all your welcome messages - this is such a friendly site!!! "The Happiest Place On Earth" is spreading goodwill, I think! :p

I look forward to hearing all about your Feb trip - I hope to also go at end of Feb but it's very very tentative.
