Since its expensive to golf on Disney (no dream maker wishes!) How can I find a golf course to send my dad to to keep him happy while we're in Disney? Reasonable priced (and I dont golf so I dont know what that means!) we're going in Oct 2005!!

TIA

Hi..send him to Ridgewood Lakes, Legends, Kings Ridge, and if he is willing to drive 55 minutes, best deal around is Deer Island up by Mt. Dora...great course on a island and probably less than 40 bucks....the other 3 will be about 25-30 minutes tops from Disney...

good luck....enjoy Disney while the old guy is out duffing around!!!

Thanks for the help!! I appreciate it!!

I live in Legends, and hear great things about the course there. (I don't play) With cart rental it's under $50 regardless of when you play, rates can go as low as $30 or so.

They had PGA tournament there in early February.

It's about a half hour drive from WDW, very easy to get to.

Orange Lake Country Club was reasonable (under $60 for a championship course), 10 minutes from Disney...

Thank you, dad mentioned a few years ago he went with my brother, and they talked to someone at ESPN that sent them to a nice golf course, that was reasonable.... so with not much to go on, I told him the group I post to would be able to help me, so thanks for any and all suggestion!!

but twilight rates (after 1 or 2) at the Disney or any area courses are very reasonable.

Lot's or competition and prices are good in most cases. I wouldn't worry. It all depends where you are staying.
