Hi all
I have been pricing the Flexiticket tonight, phoning around a few sellers trying to get them to price match other sellers etc. 2 sites in particular offer free Boggy Creek Airboat rides if you purchase their tickets but when i asked them to pricematch with cheaper sellers they withdraw the free offer. Now in my mind you are buying the tickets not the FREE Airboat ride so are they justified in what they are doing. Has anybody else come across this? I think in my mind that this is false advertising as they state that if you purchase THEIR ticket then you are entitled to the freebe.
I look forward to all your replies as i am a bit narked at the moment:mad:

Thanks
Darren

I know many like them but I have never bought from them and doubt I ever will. I do not like using companies that overcharge then pricematch, why can't they just do best price from the start?
They also quote the airboat ride as worth £25, in reality it costs around $25 incl tax.
Have you tried Virgin?
ATD Flex £159
Virgin depending on dates from £122 to £145

ATD Flex Plus £189
Virgin from £146 to £170

Also with Virgin upto 10% disc for Frequent Virgin Club or 5% disc for Flying Club.

If there are multiples fo 3 going then 3 people can do BCairboats before end June for £35 with this voucher http://www.bcairboats.com/smile.htm
If its after 30th June check back later see if they update it.

Buy them online here, if you go thru Quidco you should get 4% cashback(no-one has posted any different yet)
I believe there is a £1 or £1pp booking fee not sure as I added to our holiday last minute.

Its not just Flex tickets, they have great prices on other tickets, Virgin don't seem to have increased prices anywhere near as much as other sellers. We bought 1x 7 day Disney Premium at Xmas, over £50 cheaper than ATD(after 10% FVC discount)

Hi Wayne
Are the Virgin Tickets Vouchers or are they the Hard copy Tickets? What do you do with Voucher Tickets if we decide to get them,i take it we take them to the booths and they exchange them for hard copy tickets.Have you or anybody had any trouble with voucher Tickets? As you may of gathered i am a bit weary of purchasing Vouchers.
Thanks
Darren

Hi Darren.
We always buy Vouchers, have done for as long as I can remember. Even our Disney Annual passes are vouchers each year, so are our AP at seaworld.

They could not be easier to exchange, our preferred place is Downtown Disney on our 1st evening. There are 2 guest relations there, never had more than 1 person in front of me. Other options are exchamge at guest services on way into any of the parks, there is one at each park. I believe they can also be exchanged in the resorts but I have never tried there.

I am totally the opposite to you 100% confident in vouchers, I can't understand why any company sends tickets anymore, airlines, theatres etc when buying online it should be a ref # or print at home ticket. I am going to see Kaiser Chiefs on 23rd, cost me a small fortune for booking fees and delivery, total waste of money, time and effort.

Do you know where you would go to exchange the Flext Ticket vouchers?

Never bought the Flex ticket but just read Universal website it says goto ticket booths at entrance to either park, you will be able to goto any of the parks ticket office/guest services to exchange.

We bought our kids Disney tickets from Virgin this year and, as Wayne says, they arrived as vouchers. Nice and easy to exchange as we also went to DD on the first evening we arrived here to the customer relations booth near to Planet Hollywood. All done and dusted within 10 minutes (probably took a little longer than normal because we were also buying APs and TiW card.
