I would appreciate references and personal experiences with any Orlando / Kissimmee locally based respite.
We are planning a possible trip to DW staying off site.
One of our family members has CP and other challenges.
We are thinking of using a local respite resource to stay with this family member in our villa for one day when the rest of us go to a Disney water park.
Thank you in advance.

Just checking if anyone has Orlando respite experiences / references.

Thank you.

I don't know about orlando but I have a good friend who is the leader of an organization that helps families with kids who have FX. I can ask her if she could share some info and I will pass it on to you. I will get with her tomorrow.

Thank you very much AngleMom27.

My friend is looking into it. Right now she is in Orlando and will be back next week. She can then get me some info. I told your trip is a ways out.

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any more information on Orlando / Lake Buena Vista respite services for a special needs DD?

We (our newly combined family) are traveling to WDW in early August.

All we are looking for is someone with respite experience to give us a brief break for a few hours mid-day during one day of our trip.

Thank you very much.

Dan
