Its my husband I's 11th anniversary next week. We can literally only take a Friday - Sunday - fly in on Thursday night. Our airport has a good deal on an Allegiant flight. Would it be worth it to fly in and my husband and I do AK or Epcot (for the food and wine thing) or something else around Orlando? We have been to ALL the parks except these MANY times with family and growing up. But we dont have kids and just thinking of something different to do, since we usually just go to the mountains locally. Thoughts?

Are you planning to stay on property for this? It's a lot of money for just a two-night stay, but I've done three-night stays before, so I think if it's really something you want to do and have the money to do, then sure!

If the budget allows, my suggestion would be two nights at Beach Club. You'll be able to walk to the back gate of the World Showcase of Epcot in less than 10 minutes and be able to do Food and Wine at your leisure whenever you want.

Animal Kingdom is fun, I love that park, but I think the above scenario would make the most of your short stay.

My husband and I have done many anniversary trips to WDW and have done 3 day quick trips and full week too. For a short anniversary trip, I highly recommend Epcot and doing Food and Wine Festival. Its fun to walk around world showcase and sample all different kind of foods and drinks plus the entertainment. We also enjoy walking through Disney Springs and catching a late night movie...when time allows. For a short trip, I also would stay on property and take advantage of the Magical Express to/from airport and wdw transportation system. Epcot also offers several romantic restaurants that are wonderful for an extra special sit down meal. If budget allows, we also picked tours we were interested in when it was just the two of us. We LOVED our couples only trips so much we kept going back to experience new things each trip.

Whatever you choose to do, have a wonderful time celebrating your 11th Wedding Anniversarypixiedust:

The way I see it you have Friday and Saturday to do the parks; unless, you have something else planned for one day. Do both parks.

Recognizing that you are asking this question on DISboards I say... head to Disney!

I'll agree with the previous posters that a visit to Epcot and the Food and Wine Festival would be a wonderful anniversary present. If you can splurge on a stay at one of the Epcot resorts that would make it even more special.

Since you will have both Friday and Saturday I would suggest that you make Saturday a partial day at the AK. Pandora, the Safari, the Lion King combined with the amazing theming of the AK make it worth a visit. Then head back to Epcot for another evening of Food and Wine. Don't forget to check out the Eat to the Beat concert schedule.

Also, pick up a "Celebrating..." button to enhance the experience.
Wishing you a pixiedust: anniversary!

Epcot is more geared to adults imo. I would go there, There are a lot of adult drinks and places to eat. Epcot is 1 of my favorite places to walk around and just take in the excitement and atmosphere.

We just bought annual passes on the strength of our plan to visit a few times over the next year and do 3-5 day visits over weekends. We do not ever seem to get good deals on flights and it's approximately 3 hours flight plus 1 hour drive to the airport plus we have to be there 2-3 hours in advance. And have to clear customs/immigration (we're in Canada). I still think it's worth the time for DH and I. Note: we always stay on-site.
