Hi everyone - We will be staying at the Polynesian January 25 - February 2. We are planning on flying into Orlando the night before and then stay in a hotel near the airport. The next day we will use Tiffany town car for the grocery stop convenience. Does anyone have any suggestions on good, clean and safe airport hotels preferably with the free breakfast for our family of two adults and two children 10 and 6. I am still up in the air on which longhouse to request. Tahiti looks like a good location. Any other suggestions for Magic kingdom view.

Thanks!

I would suggest asking on the Orlando hotels thread for hotels near the airport. Welcome to the DIS.

The easiest (but not cheapest) place to stay is the Hyatt. It is at the airport. You simply get your bags and go up two escalators and you're at the check-in desk. We've done this many times. Couldn't be easier.

You can try one of the two Amerisuites near MCO. They are inexpensive, nearby, have free shuttle service to the terminal, and include continental breakfast.

I will also be staying at an airport hotel both the night we fly in and fly out (using points to stay at a Holiday Inn and then a Marriott brand, so I did no research on the hotels themselves). I was planning on using a towncar, but then looked up car rental rates for 1 day to get to and from Disney (after seeing a suggestion on the Disboards). It is under $20 for the trip there and $45 for the trip back. This way we will be able to drive to supper in the evening if we don't want the hotel food, and make a grocery stop if we need to. I believe both Alamo and National have a rental return somewhere near the Poly. Mousesavers.com has discount rates. This is just a thought.

Hope you have a great trip.

Thanks for your suggestions. So far I have researched a little and the Embassy suites and Wingate look good.

I prefer the Embassy Suites or the Hampton Inn. Both have shuttle service to Orlando International. I stayed at Amerisuites and while the rooms were nice, the breakfast wasn't all that great. It was okay for one night though.

Hope this helps!

Do all the rooms in Tahiti have balconies or patios? Is there a better room location at Tahiti or are they all good? Thanks for any advice.
