I have never bought anything from this place, but they have been sending me their catalogs. I was thinking of using them to purchase some party favors/trick or treat items to give out to kids in my husband's military unit. Has anybody ever used them? Do you like them? Or do you know of anyplace better to buy these types of items?

I use them all the time. Find an online coupon, just google oriental trading online code and one will pop up somewhere. They are quick, trustworthy. For the most part, I find they are the cheapest when you need to buy in bulk. You can check out US Toys also.

I buy alot of decorations for my childrens birthday parties with them. Just dont expect to much is all I can say. Things are alot smaller and cheaper then they appear. There are always coupon codes for them and they are less expensive then alot of things at the party store.

I order from them for parties, pencils, and reward stickers and I've always been very happy. They ship very quickly. I've never had a problem with my orders so I don't know how their customer service is.

I love Oriental Trading Co.!! I buy from there very frequently and have nothing but positive things to say about them. Yes... you must "expect what you pay for" meaning that the item that you paid 75% less for than the one in the party store is not the exact same quality. But Ihave found 99.9% of the time it does the trick. When I order from them I am not expecting to keep or use the item for years to come. One thing I can add is that if something is not to your liking immediately call them and let them know or drop them an email. Their customer service is absolutely phenomenol and they will go out of their way to help you and keep you happy. I have had them ship me credits, future discounts, when I need a replacement of a damaged or wromng item they will even send it next day ... all at their suggestion without any problems or attitudes! Good luck finding companies like this nowadays! Also there are almost always specials and offers like free shipping, 20% off, referral coupons, etc, so be sure to take advantage of that. I always buy from Oriental Trading for the kids' b-day party favors. The only thing is that since the prices are cheap, so is the quality! I've been lucky with my last couple of orders though. Definately find a code online when you order. They almost always have one.

I agree with many of the comments above, they are great! I have bought everything from craft kits, to pencils, to stickers, to party stuff over the last few years. Only once have I had a problem, and not only was the correct item shipped quickly, but they sent extra items to make me extra happy, even though I wasn't upset.
Our PTA orders from them as well. They are great!

for Oriental Trading. I use them for our church events all the time.

Just be careful with the craft kits -- some of the foam kits have VERY tiny pieces. You'll also want to sort them out ahead of time (i.e. put all of the pieces for 1 craft in a single baggie) -- it saves much time.

I've never been disappointed, and everything's always been delivered very fast.
