If you knew me IRL you’d understandLet’s revisit how this one ‘hypothetically’ started here. Now look where we are. OP ultimately went back in time and reset history. I now sit back and root for @melissa70. It’s like a Hallmark movie.

Yes!! That original start. It was a feelings purchase BRV, in my option a good price for 160 points. Asking about a FOMO add on. How did we get here? Wasn’t on my bingo card.It actually started here (below) with RIV direct. Which led me to believe finances were not a road block for buying which led me to point out even though CCV was a bit more up front, long term its a substantially better value. I guess CCV and BRV are extremely similar to me but not to others. I learned that through all this.
I want to know you here in our DVC life. We were on a 2-3 month resale journey WITH you.

. Yeah..but end up completely penniless. And who would think that the next 2 stages of resale are much more stressful than the initial purchase. Thats a huge upside to buying direct. Easy peasy, quick, no stress. Amazing.

I’ve since gotten over my FOMO add on. The perks just aren’t worth it for me..unless they have a fire sale..never say neverYes!! That original start. It was a feelings purchase BRV, in my option a good price for 160 points. Asking about a FOMO add on. How did we get here? Wasn’t on my bingo card.

I always offer lower, but there's a chance it sells from under you, but to me it's worth it. I believe SSR in in the 80's not 90's but again personal choice if negotiations are your thing.I’ve since gotten over my FOMO add on. So..I may or may not be putting in an offer for 250 SSR contract full points for 2025 and 2026.. 93 dollars a point. Thoughts??
They want 103 that’s why I’m thinking 93I always offer lower, but there's a chance it sells from under you, but to me it's worth it. I believe SSR in in the 80's not 90's but again personal choice if negotiations are your thing.
Wedgeout I need at least 250 for what I want to stay in! I know some people would say buy 2 smaller contracts but that means two closing fees and more aggravation and sometimes more money per pointI’m going to support you no matter what. Those large contracts can be a pain to sell again.
Just make sure the UY works for you.I’ve since gotten over my FOMO add on. The perks just aren’t worth it for me..unless they have a fire sale..never say never

Early December one-bedrooms are hard at VGFDo you think that is as much of a problem for 1 BRs? Just curious because I have yet to live though trying to secure a December booking yet. Of course, even if not a problem now, could be in the future. And I’m sure it varies by resort too.

@melissa70 this is very good advice. The options on the market are much better after the dues statements come out.I still think waiting about 3 weeks could be very beneficial for you but I know that is hard to do, believe me I know.
I had that same thought as I’m on here talking it up. I might want more at some point and I’m happy to be able to score some deals on itCan everyone stop pushing CCV please?
Thanks,
Someone looking for those prices to drop

.Where the heck was this advice when I needed it?I'd add one more piece of advcie: go slowly from here. No need to rush into anything!

Right? It's rare for us enablers to say slow down and wait. So right now is actually a very good time to have patience.Where the heck was this advice when I needed it?
