Organizing all your information??

I have the DCL version of the Passporter and am waiting to order the WDW version for next year. I also have a 3 ring binder separated into sections. The first section is dedicated to our cruise confirmations along with personal info of everyone in our extended family who's going. The second section is for shore excursions and information on each island we're visiting. Another section is devoted to our resort which contains my WDW reservation confirmation plus tips pasted into Word from the boards. Then I have another section that's for the parks, maps, touring tips from TGM, etc. Another section is will be for dining which will include restaurant info and I'll add ADR info when the time comes.

Talk about obsessed!

I keep everything in my daily planner. I have a tab that is specifically marked for WDW and I have everything in there from the dates to the confirmation # to the payments I've made, ADRs and those confirmation #s, park hours (including EMH), MNSSHP info, airline info, etc. Since my planner goes everywhere with me, my trip info stuff is always available to me.

well, here goes...you can go ahead and laugh after if you want. OK, I have a huge three ring binder with tabs with all of your basic WDW info (i.e. what rides are in each park and what they're about, restaurants and what they serve, the hotels info, blah blah, blah), which is divided by park/hotel and labeled and updated when there are any changes (whether I'm making a trip or not.), then, if I am planning a trip I divide everything into seperate duotang folders organized by park and hotel. I also keep a seperate business card holder folder into which I put copies of all confirmation numbers in the order they will be needed which I can take with me to the parks. The business card holder folder not only keeps them organized but is waterproof and completely closeable for those pesky but loveable water rides!

:wave2: No laughing from me. It sounds like you are very organized and know where to find everything when you need it. :thumbsup2

I put everything on an Excel spread sheet. Airline info, ADR'S with all conf.#'s, any tours with conf. #'s, which park on which day, resort info and conf. #, limo drivers at home and in Orlando with conf. #'s and anything that has been paid in advance. Also any telephone #'s we may need. This way everything is on one or two sheets of paper and we have it to look at in just a glance everyday. I put that and any other important documents we might need in one large envelope, put that in my carry-on and off we go.

here's another vote for the Passporter!!! I also write daily notes on index cards that fit in the Passporter folders!!! with reservation Numbers times etc. to pass out to the other members of our party incase we get seperated!

I type up one page for each day of the vacation. It includes all of our information from ADR's, order of our rides, budget info, park hours, etc. Then I take a plain business envelope for each day and put that sheet of paper, maps, times guides, cash for the day in it. All of them go into that little plastic envelope that comes with your info from WDW or your travel agent. I keep it in the safe at the hotel and just grab my envelope for each day. Works well and I just make notes on the sheet as we go through the day to use for my scrapbooking.

In May I tried something new. I printed out all my daily itinerarys and TGM advice, ADR's and other things on 4x6 index cards. Then I bought a 3 dollar coupon organizer and labeled each of the slots as a different day. I put all my info in their as I would need it. Then each morning I'd pull out the cards I needed for the day. I also laminated them. With poor mans laminate. Packing tape. :rotfl:

Count me in on the high-dork scale! I actually found a "leather" lime-green monthly planner at WalMart (about the size of a check book), and I created a file in Word to create a booklet that will fit it. I'll print out the pages (double sided), cut them out, fold them and staple thicker stock paper to the outside, then put it in the leather covering.

It has my:
- flight info
- hotel confirmations
- hotel address and phone number
- addresses/email of friends and family
- at-a-glance info for the whole trip
- list of things I'd like to possibly get (for friends and family)
- synopsis and specific park info (for each day)
- budget info (I'm comparing what we spend/save on various things)
- notes on the day (for each day)

And that all will fit on 11 sheets of paper. (44 pages, double sided, etc.)

I bought a FAT LIL' NOTEBOOK by MEAD and divided like this

1)Resort
2)MK
3)MGM
4)Epcot
5)Dining
6) List for what's needed in park, resort and personal
7)Airline

In each section I wrote down all I needed to know such as for MK I wrote down rides w/FP info and height restrictions---When parades are, when fireworks are plus any "hidden info" and this section was broken down by park section (fantasyland, frontierland etc)

In dining I wrote down what the DDP consisted of and the rules for it ALSO had our meals broken down by date, type and ADR #
EXAMPLE
MON JULY 3
Snack
Counter-Cosmic Rays Tomorrowland
Table-Cinderellas Gala Feast 4:50pm//39377145 1900 Park Fare GF

To divide the notebook into sections I bought a package of index divider tabs then wrote the name of each section on it

PLUS the big bonus of using a notebook like this is that it is lightweight and fit right into my fanny pack! No lugging a 3 ring binder around the parks! And at any time I needed the book to look something up it was readily available

I just bought another book for our next trip in February and have started to copy some of the info from the old book into the new book!

Wow! I am in awe!! A manila folder does it for us.

Bobbi :)
