How do you all do it??

Last year I just used a folder and put things in it, in the order I would need it....

Airline
Rental Car
Hotel

and so forth. Not too organized. This year I think I need a binder, I've gained more information!!!!

Any suggestion, how do you keep yourself organized?

I keep everything in my Passporter :thumbsup2 In addition to being a great guide book with park maps & info, there are labeled pockets to hold all your important papers. I keep everything in the passporter & write all my ADR's etc. in it too. It's the best way I have found to keep everything organized.

plain 3 ring binder with tabs.....works every time for me

I use a three ring binder (1" ones) for each and every trip. I put everything in them....resort info, flight stuff, ADRs, daily plans. Then, when I get home, I put a lot of the stuff from the trip in it. It's almost like a keepsake that way. I also use a Passporter with the yellow pages for those special trips. I use the daily sections as a diary.
With the binder system, I can go back to previous trips and find any info I may need.

We use the Deluxe PassPorter. For our upcoming trip, we ordered a new set of pockets.

I usually have a sheet of all of our ADR's, plus I write them on the Pocket for that day. All of our trip docs, TA card, etc get filed either in the PassPockets or in the pockets on the cover.

I use a three ring binder. Use page protecters for things you don't want to punch holes in. Also useful for putting maps and other stuff you collect from the parks.
I cross reference and colour code. So I have everything by section (dining, park info etc) and then by day. So the daily plan has the dining info, but so does the dining section (both in the same colour) so that everything is easily located by anyone who is looking for specific info. But I fully admit I am an overplanner. I do have to say that I haven't started laminating the daily plan (yet).

Another vote for PassPorter! I love not only having places for all my bits and pieces, but also all the info!! I've read it cover to cover.

well, here goes...you can go ahead and laugh after if you want. OK, I have a huge three ring binder with tabs with all of your basic WDW info (i.e. what rides are in each park and what they're about, restaurants and what they serve, the hotels info, blah blah, blah), which is divided by park/hotel and labeled and updated when there are any changes (whether I'm making a trip or not.), then, if I am planning a trip I divide everything into seperate duotang folders organized by park and hotel. I also keep a seperate business card holder folder into which I put copies of all confirmation numbers in the order they will be needed which I can take with me to the parks. The business card holder folder not only keeps them organized but is waterproof and completely closeable for those pesky but loveable water rides!

A lot of people use their computers to organize their plans but I like to write everything down. I have a binder filled with all the WDW info I need, it comes in handy all the time! :thumbsup2

I do everything on 4 x 6 index cards, one with the flight info, hotel reseravations, etc. Then I keep everything in a vinyl folder.

Granted I rarely make any ADRs. Hey I'm a young professional traveling with other young professionals, we eat when hungry. We're not concerned about getting into breakfast at CRT, we barely eat breakfast. :rotfl:

Same here. 3 ring binder with tabs for various areas-resort, restaurants, parks and hours, recreation, etc.

This is me too... I have a two ring index card binder... It's divided into sections for each park... a section for the overall week... a packing list section... Within each park I have things like, our "plan of attack", where the penny presses are, where the hidden Mickey's are, where the Gems are, ADR's, where the Elephant Ears are, what drinks I need to try and where to find them, special shops I want to be sure to check out, etc.... Once there I''ll be able to take the cards pertaining to the park we are going to with me in little zip-lock baggy... I've also got the typical spreadsheets with all the ADR's, overall itinerary, packing list... Those along with maps, tickets, etc. I keep in a folder... I have a Passporter also, but it will go with us to be filled out while there... A wonderful "down time" activity I'm hoping...

It's so nice to see that I'm not the only one.... :grouphug:

Wow, I'm going on a month long stay to the USA, 7 cities, 7 hotels, 5 flights, 2 train rides and all I have is the print outs of the reservations for each, and contact details/insurance details stapled together. It's about 10 pages long!

And I'm travelling 4,000 miles from home for 31 nights!

I take the index cards a step further...I call it my P.I.B. (Personal Itinerary Book). I use Disney Print Artist and create graphics (each of my trips has a theme and the graphic correlate with the theme) and have all my information in it. Then I take it to Kinkos and get it spiral bound and covered. Makes a great keepsake!

People ask me all the time why it takes me a year to plan a trip...between creating PIB's and mousekeeping envelopes and special stickers and what-nots for the trip (not to mention the planning aspects)...I'm pretty much swamped with work all year 'round!

I keep all the data on my computer. I create Word documents for all the important stuff. Closer to the trip, I decorate the pages with clipart and then have the printed pages laminated and bound at Kinkos. It keeps us on track and I don't have to worry about missing an ADR because the sheets got wet on Kali or SpMnt.

The books make a neat keepsake for our trips too. Maggie

I'm surprising my son with our trip next month, so I made a small (8 x 8) soft covered scrapbook for him with all of our ADR's, park hours, park maps, EMH's, resort info, etc. to give him on the plane. Then I also have everything in a folder that I will stick in my carry on just in case.
