Organic Grocer Near Disney?

Hi - we're looking for a grocery store (like Whole Foods here in CO) to pick up a few things near WDW. Any suggestions? We'll have a car and we'll be driving up to disney, after a stay in Ft. Myers. Thanks

Publix has a pretty good organic section. But if you want a really good store, the closest would be The Fresh Market - which is probably about 15 minutes away in Dr. Phillips. Ask at the front desk - they should be able to give you directions.

We've found Publix to be very limited in the type of organic selections we were looking for to be perfectly honest when we went there in search of such things in previous years.

I haven't visited it myself personally but I ordered tons of organic goods from Chamberlin's Market (delivered by wegoshop.com) at the suggestion of an Orlando native friend. They have several locations in Orlando. http://www.chamberlins.com/ We were very pleased.

Chamberlin's is good. We go there or to Whole Foods in Winter Park, which is just a few minutes from my parents' house in Casselberry. Not exactly close to WDW, but it is about a half hour drive with no traffic, if you'd like to go someplace familiar.

You'd be better off going to The Fresh Market. It's close to disney, organic, and a great store.

Well, Chamberlin is similar to Whole Foods. The closest you can get to Chamberlins is at the Marketplace at Dr Phillips Blvd. About 5 miles from Downtown Disney. My brother use to work at that location. I don't know if there is a Whole Food in Orlando, but seen those in WA.

A new Whole Foods is being built at the corner of Sand Lake and Turkey Lake but I don't think an opening date has been announced yet. Something to keep in mind for future trips.

There is The Organic Place in Kissimmee:

It's run by a Hawaiian couple - they're very nice & friendly. It's small, though; nowhere near the size of a Whole Foods.
