ordering THE tux before I get docs?

I have the order form, phone etc from last year
(DH is using same measurements and Im hoping it fits)

How far in advance can the tux be ordered? Do I need to have the docs before I call? (maybe just to make sure its the same room I reserved?)

I wouldn't wait until you get the docs. Sometimes they don't arrive until 10 days prior to your arrival.

I would just place the order whenever it's convenient.

I ordered my DH's already for our cruise. It will be in the stateroom closet. Very convenient. Request an email confirmation for the order.

Even if it is not the same room, I think you will get it. We changed rooms at the port and the staff managed to locate everything we ordered in advance. They did try to deliver somone else's tux to our new room, though! So just check your old room for whatever you may be missing if all does not go smoothly. Congrats on winning the tux battle. I still liked the idea of the silk and Disney scrubs! Have a good time. And we would all love to see apost of that formal portrait!
