Ordering pizza from Spoodles

Can we still call in our pizza order at Spoodles? We have a large group of friends coming in on the same day (all staying at BWV) and I thought a few pizzas would be the easiest way for us to enjoy a meal together. Also, would it be okay to bring our food to the pool in the evening or should we just hang out in one of our villas?

NO !, starting this year you can NOT call in your Pizza order at spoodles. Someone must go in person to the window and order. The reason given to us was 'to many non-pickups'. This was March of 2001. I hope it changes, as it makes things inconvienant. No lunch at Spoodles too, starting June 2001. Brunch is still served though.

I read on one of the sites that Spoodles is now cancelling the brunch and will only be open for dinner.

This was our experience in April as well. I even offered to give them our room number so they could charge us in advance, but they said there was no way for them to do that and that I needed to order in person.

I see you're from NJ, so you know good or decent pizza. I recently ordered a pizza to pick up and bring to room, it made Pizza Hut pies look like gormet. It has a pre made crust with tons of cheese. It's also expensive (even for WDW). I enjoyed all of the other food on my trip, but that pizza was a mistake.

As far as bringing food to pool, I didn't see anyone caring about what people were doing at the pool chairs and tables. Especially at the quiet pool. I think the pool would be a fun place to hang out. The pool bar has a pretty good drink list.

Thanks for the replies. I have never actually had the pizza at Spoodles. Maybe I should give it a try before I order enough pies for 15 people! Does any "outside of Disney" restaurant deliver to BWV?
