Ordering park tickets with event code

I just registered for the Pincess 1/2 and it gave me a event code to purchase tickets but when I enter it, it tells me it is invalid. Has anyone else had this problem or any luck getting tickets. What is the discount on tickets? Is it worth following up on this?

When I booked my room I got the impression from the cast member that there is not an option to order online but you needed to call the dedicated Run Disney # 407- WDW- IRUN.
