Ordering Men's Wearhouse from UK

Hi everyone,

Firstly, thanks for all the great advice everyone gives on this board it's really helpful!

I was wondering if anyone from the UK has ever hired their suits or tux from Men's Wearhouse by sending measurements? I know this may sound like a scary idea but wondered if anyone had any experience?

I was just listening to Carrie's podcast about hiring with Men's Wearhouse and gave me thought. (I love the podcast by the way!!)

Lots of the UK brides I talk to have done this! Carolyn Allen's is another local place that will deliver tuxes according to measurements you send. You can see their options here: http://www.jimsformalwear.com/styles

What happens is they set up a day to bring the suits out and have everyone try them on. Then they can make minor alterations or (if they have them) replace pieces that don't fit. Then they deliver the correct suits to the resort before the wedding and pick them up afterward. It is a HUGE time-saver!

Thank you so much for replying! I'm slightly in awe as I have your book and have been listening to your podcast everyday for about two weeks!

I will definitely look in to this then as it will save a lot of time packing suits and then possibly getting them pressed in WDW.

We're doing this from Canada... Not quite as far but we are just relying on measurements too... I'll let you know how it turns out next week.

They're trying the suits on Monday morning and then the wedding is on Thursday so lots of time for alterations or swaps as required. We're also keeping one suit until the following Tuesday because of our in park shoots (plus an extra shirt because August in Florida = sweat)
