Ordering Leis

Other than the Disney florist, is there a reputable florist that delivers leis to WDW resorts? I know I saw a thread a long time ago about this and I did a search, but I can't find it.

Sorry I can't answer your question.

Just thought I would let you know if you are celebrating anything and are dinning at the Poly they give you leis.

They are cheap ones and not real flowers but hey they are free and the kids love them.

They do run out sometimes, but chances are better to receive them and sometimes the cast member checking you in will forget. We had to ask last time - everyone else checking in was being given the Lei's so we finally asked nicely - we did not have the friendliest CM that day.

We were there in October 2009, the front desk always had leis, many boxes of them. Just go and ask. They often were given out at Ohana (breakfast and dinner) and at the Spirit of Aloha... but to be sure, just stop by the front desk.

They are artificial but I thought very nice. And different colors. We had some that were yellow with orange, and others that were white with pink.

Yes, if they don't give you one upon arrival just ask. I am sure they would make sure you had one very soon if they didn't have any.

They have hoards. I've stayed poly 50 plus times and never run into them being out. They usually have baskets in the kid area full of them aswell. Sometimes there is a lady there making real ones and she gives them away free.
U also don't have to stay or dine their to get them. Just ask if the baskets are out. Anyone remember when they gave away the shell necklaces instead of the leis! I still have one someplace!

I really wanted a fresh flower lei, as it is my husband's birthday and we're celebrating our anniversary. The whole lei thing has become a real joke between us with the Poly and I just wanted to ensure I could get a nice one. I'm totally making sure everybody knows he stayed at the Poly and got...

The Disney Florist does have real flower leis available. They are quite pricey because they hand sew the flowers in place. If I remember correctly, they have single flower and double flower leis. Just give the florist a call and they can give you the info.

OMG I love the joke behind this question!!!! I think for that reason, a real lei is worth whatever you have to spend! (That could be twisted into so many different ways!)

I looked on the Disney florist website and they don't show them. Plus, I heard from a thread (which I cannot find) that they were like 80 dollars. Yikes!

I know someone posted about a local florist (either Orlando or Tampa area) that did them for like 35-40 bucks.

Does anyone even remember this or am I dreaming it?
