Ordering Kids Meals

We have always had the DDP so I have never worried about not finishing my meal. But on our next trip we will not have the DDP as we bought DVC last month! We thought we would try paying OOP and see how it goes.
So my question is, will they let you order off the childrens menu? Not sure if I would want to all the time, but it would be nice to know I could if I wanted.
Note: We will have children with us.

CS, you won't have a problem at all but at some TS you might it all depends on the restaurant and server.

I order kid meals at CS if they appeal to me.

Have never tried at TS, but I have read on here it depends on the place & server.
