ordering in food?

Does any one know if it's possible to order in food from outside of Disney while staying in a resort? I was thinking of pizza places outside of Disney or Chinese food? Does Disney allow that?

They used to allow Domino's and places like that but since the new safety procedures at the gates, I bet not. Anyone?

When we stayed at All Star Music in December we ordered from Dominos. They delivered it to the main building. The cm at the front desk gave us the number.

In Septmeber, the Concierge ordered an early chineese dinner for us from a restaurant he said delived all of the time to the CR. (Now THAT'S service!)

It may also vary by resort and who you order from.
Two yrs ago when we stayed at the BC, we checked in late, after 10pm. And there was nothing available, ie. no food court etc.
So we ordered a pizza, looked in the phone book.
The said they really weren't supposed to deliver to BC, but would meet us in the parking lot.

We joked about it the whole trip.......
We felt like we were buying "black market pizza"!!!!

We went stayed at the CBR last year for senoir week, we ordered Domino'd every night. I don't know about any other places, but pizza's always a sure bet.

We were at OKW three or four years ago and ordered Chinese food delivered. We ordered a bunch of stuff, certainly well over $50, probably nearer $100. I don't know if its a regional thing, us being from New York, or what, but this was the most horrible Chinese food any of us had ever seen. We ate the barbeque ribs and some of the won ton soup, all the rest, I mean 90% of the order, went straight in the garbage.

We ended up going to Jungle Jim's.

I don't remember where it came from, but it was a Disney thing, I forget where we were told to call, but it was one of the hotels.

Just curious, do you want a specific brand of delivery food? If not, several years ago we ordered pizza from CBR food court or whatever was open late. We were tired and hungry, so it was a great way to go. Charged it to our room so all we had to do was tip the delivery guy.

Thanks for your replies and info. I wasn't thinking any particular brand, mainly just italian or chinese. We ordered pizza from the resort last time and it was okay but I thought we might like somewhere else better. Thanks again!
