Ordering Extra Bun with Double Cheeseburger?

The double cheeseburger has cheese on one side and bacon on the other.

It worked well when we split it because I got the cheese and my mom got the bacon. We didn't bother with the extra bun, we just each had one side of the bun, our burger and then the toppings and ate it like an open faced sandwich.
