I remember reading about a guest who bought pins online and paid to have them brought to the front desk at her resort because she ran out of pins. Anyone know who to contact and if the pins are real?

If you are talking about Ebay, check over on the Collector's Board section of the DIS. They have a whole thread about it, who's good or not.

If the pins were delivered to her resort during her stay, they would have to be ordered from somewhere local. Buying from someone on eBay (good or bad seller) wouldn't get to you in time... with the possible exception that the buyer knew they were purchasing from a local who guaranteed delivery. Maybe the outlet store has the ability to overnight a shipment?

There are some sellers on ebay that way they will deliver the pin purchase to your resort. From what I've read, those almost always tend to be scrappers because they're selling bulk lots (e.g., 100 loose pins).

Mousepinsonline.com is the one I see mentioned the most. He does have a lot of scrappers, though.
