Ordered various Miracool items--arrived today. just barely in time! Hat, collars etc

Wow I was worried about my Miracool order!
I ordered on 5/30, but it just arrived today---a little unaccaptable.
I ordered the ranger hat that has the cooling gel things in the top of the hat, a head scarf that has the cooling things in it, and a cooling collar for each member of the family. The collars are nice, not having ot tie them, just velcro.

I called after waiting a week for my order, and they did not return my call, or the guy I needed to talk to was not in, I e-mailed, left a voice mail...
I guess they were out of the ranger hats, so they delayed my whole order with out letting me know. When I finally did get a hold of the guy in charge of shipping, he said that my order was sent on Tuesday two day US post, when I believe I paid for UPS 2 day guarantee. With US post, there is no guarantee that it will be there in two days.

I will report when I get back if they held up well, and how the hat worked for me.

Could you measure the length of the collar for me, please ! I was going to order one for my Dh because we will not wear the ones with the long ties and he hates the heat. I can't find the length anywhere.

The collar is 23 inches long. 19 1/2 inches of material between the velcro squares.

My family did not wear them, and I did, and they helped me the hottest longest day we had in the theme parks.

Make sure you trim the edges of the velcro squares and round them with a fingernail clipper, or something like that. I had little welts the first day I wore mine from the sharp corners of the velcro tabs jabbing me through the day. After I rounded the corners, no problem.

I just kept re-wetting the collar every time I used the bathroom. They did not leak, but I also never squeezed them.

I also ordered the MiraCool ranger hat, and I much prefer to wear a baseball cap and wet it if it is really hot.

The ranger hat caused massive zits along the hat line, so I wore it the first two days of our trip, but switched to the ball cap.
