Order to do the following rides:

This is also true, although I have never understood the logic of creating an artificial 30 minute or more "line"and fighting that mob to save yourself 10 minutes in the actual line. To me it is a net loss of at least 20 minutes.

Honestly, at MK rope drop, if you're not going to 7DMT you can probably roll up 10 minutes before official park open and be fine. Last time I rope dropped PPF, I think I joined the crowd in front of the castle about 5 minutes before the opening show. I say a half hour because I like to play it safe and I don't want to tell someone they can get there that late and definitely have a short wait and end up being wrong.

The thing about waiting before park open is you aren't wasting early morning touring time in line. If you wait a half hour before rope drop and walk on at your first attraction, you get to the next attraction earlier, therefore saving time in line there, and so on. Over the first hour you'll have a substantial net gain. Unless, of course, you're only visiting attractions that don't build long waits. But it's not for everyone, and we should each tour the way that makes us happy.

So I ran the plan through that day of TP--I know other people are more skeptical of them than I am, but they were pretty spot on for us. Plus I've been home ill and have really run out of things to do at home, so...

The plan they suggest is:

Pooh, Tea Party, Mermaid, Barnstormer, Dumbo, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan, IaSW, Philharmagic, Carousel--it completes at 10:43a with 74 minutes in line and 31 spent walking.

Your original plan completes at 11:02a comes in at 96 line and 30 walking. You can probably cut about ten minues off your line time because it always assumes you are sort of middle of the pack at ropedrop--which was always true for us but a lot of people here do better than that.

So one way or another it's really a difference of about ten minutes. I wouldn't really sweat it.

You guys are all so wonderful! It has given me a lot to think about and I feel much better about not having fast passes. I think we will arrive at the gates about 30 minutes before the park opening. Still not sure exactly where we'll go first, but I at least have some ideas and definitely know which rides can be saved for near the end.

Thanks again!
