Does anyone know the order that the buses pick-up/drop-off at OKW? I know they have a set route at SSR, which is why we always request Grandstand, so we can be first pick-up and first drop-off. Wondering if there is a similar pattern at OKW. We won't have a rental car and will really be relying on the buses.

The normal route is:
Peninsular Road
South Point
Old Turtle Pond
Miller's Road
Hospitality House (Cove Road)

The DtD bus is also the Internal Loop bus, so it stops at Hospitality first and last.

So would building 23-26 or 52-56 be good one's to request to be early on the bus route? This is a short trip for us and a first stay at OKW so we don't want to spend all day waiting on buses.

You spend the same amount of time, no matter what part of the resort you stay in. If you board at Peninsular Rd, the bus still runs the rest of the route, so you are still "wasting time" only you are wasting it on the bus.

If you board at the last stop, you go directly to the parks without another stop in the resort. But coming home, you run the route, so you are last off.

We usually stay in the South Point or Old Turtle Pond areas.

Bldgs 23 to 26 are part of the guaranteed "Near Hospitality" booking category, like Boardwalk View at BWV.

The near hospitality area is bldgs 11 to 14, and 23 to 26, with the 60s building used as overflow if the category is overbooked. Also the 60s buildng are the only buildings with elevators, so they are often used for those with mobility issues.

We've stayed in building #14 and building #26 and we were extremely happy with #26 (not at all with #14). We loved being on that bus stop and it was such an easy walk to the hospitality house. If we missed the bus we could walk up to the front and still catch it when it hit the last bus stop.

However, that being said, I really think any area at OKW is wonderful. The two experiences we had at OKW, we never ran into standing room only on the way to the parks (take into consideration that we do NOT go at rope drop).

If you are in Bldg 26, you have the best of both worlds, when leaving the resort simply walk to the HH bus stop. When returning to the resort you will be the first stop.
Bldg 26 is right next to the Peninsular Rd bus stop. Depending on which side of the bldg you are on you will be able to hear the buses coming and going. I had a ground floor studio (left side of bldg) approx 50 ft from the bus stop.
