Orbitz WDW tickets

I just booked my hotel and tickets through Orbitz.
It says this is a voucher and I need to take it to any park to receive my tickets.
My question is since they have the Magic Bands, can't we do this at resort check in and they add out tickets onto our bands?
Also, since we've booked through Orbitz will we be able to order our bands before our trip so we can get the color we want?

You can do all of those things.

You need to email or call Orbitz to get your Disney hotel confirmation number(which is different than your Orbitz number) so you can go on the Disney website and link it to the site.

The same for your tickets, but it's called the "magic code". Once you type this code into Disney's site, it asks you to link it to a person,then you can choose your magic bands.

I was able to enter our hotel reservation successfully but will have to call to get the ticket # to add.
Loving the magic bands and MDE website!
I even added our old unused tickets from years ago (no expire tickets) to our bands already.

Ah! I had similar questions. Mydisney won't let me use the will call code on our voucher. Do I call Orbitz or Disney?

You need to contact Orbitz.

I just got off the phone with Orbitz and they said you have to wait 5 days until the magic code is emailed to you.

Call back and speak to someone else...that isn't accurate!

My magic code was not emailed to me. I called Orbitz and got it from the CSR. I was able to link my tickets to MWE and now I'm outlining as much of our itinerary as possible. Hope that helps!

Yes, I had to call them and get my code.
I also had them do a room request for me (king size bed and top floor)
I'll call the resort a few days prior to our arrival to make sure that they confirm that.

I even added our old unused tickets from years ago (no expire tickets) to our bands already.

Just be careful to have the tickets that you WANT TO USE FIRST set to the highest "priority" in your MDE file.
Guest Relations can reset any of your current valid tickets in MDE to the high priority position... and that ticket will be the one "used" when you enter a park gate the next time.

You can go to Guest Relations and have a different ticket set to the highest priority at any time during your trip, if you need to select from different tickets on different days of your trip.
