Orbitz Sold Out

If this has been answered in the past, I am sorry for asking again. I was looking at Orbitz for our Feb. 2017 visit. All properties are showing as sold out. Are they really sold out, or does Orbitz just not have them listed because rates have not been announced? TIA

I think it's possible they don't have anything for that date yet.

tgr49 I am thinking they don't have access yet. I just asked a similar question about cheaptickets. Disney chat told me I can book April 2017 if I call them directly but not online yet. I find this annoying because I don't want to sit on the phone for hours asking OK what about this resort, what about that resort, what about this option, how many can I sleep there etc etc !!!

You can't book dates on Orbitz for 2017 yet. If you look on Disney's website, the same is true. Try again once that changes.

Thanks for the quick replies. This will be our 10th year in a row going to Disney, but the first staying on-site. We are doing 3 night at Disney, then a 4 night cruise.

NICE TRIP TGR49. we did that many years ago. I will say better to do land first because we did reverse and so sorry we only booked 3 days

Online bookings for 2017 won't be possible until Disney releases the room rates for next year. That won't happen until sometime this summer. If you want to book a room only reservation before then, you will have to do it by phone, directly with Disney. Do your research beforehand so you will know what resorts and room categories you want. But be aware that the prices quoted will be the highest rack rates for 2016. Your deposit will be based on that and your balance owing will be modified when the new prices are announced.

If you are determined to use Orbitz or another 3 rd party site,, you just have to wait.
