I was just looking to see what prices would be for our June 2007 trip and there is a Delta flight on orbitz RT for $158. The same flight on Delta.com is almost $1000.

I feel like this is fluke but for a a family of 5 this is a huge savings. Should I jump on it. I didn't see anything about trip insurance which I would buy this early.

I have used orbitz in the past for booking buiness travel but usually that is just a 6-9 weeks out. This is 10 months away.

I say if you know this is a good deal, go for it. Sometimes online sites offer specials different than the actual airline. Also, when I've seen low fares such as this on Orbitz, sometimes when I get to the actual booking, I get a message telling me the fare has changed.

Anyway, it's worth a try.

I would go for it. My sister fround a great fare round trip to Vegas from Ohio for $140. on orbitz. We jumped on that one right away :cool1:

Stop thinking and book the flight ASAP. When you see something that good, you need to jump on it.

I jumped on it!! Less than $1000 for a family of 5 to Disney!!

wow! great! just think, with all that "savings" you can upgrade your resort! LOL! (oh, am i the only one that thinks that way?! LOL!) :lmao:

Don't hesitate! I found a decent rate on the Delta site a month ago for our Feb. trip. I had to book it in several segments because of overnight stopovers. All went well until the third segment - the Delta site froze up while I was trying to enter my payment info. When it finally started working again, the price was $50 higher than when I started. Fortunately, I was able to get to Expedia in time to book for only a dollar or five more than the original price. Additionally, I lost a $160 because I delayed overnight so that my wife and I could talk about it. Normally I tell myself that prices can go down as well as up, but I suspect that there's only one direction that your Orbitz quote will go. Good luck.
