Orbitz Discount at WDW resorts

I was just able to book 2 nights at POR using an Orbitz discount code. We are going Thanksgiving week. Booking through Orbitz, I upgraded us from a regular garden view room to a royal garden view room, and still saved $60+ over the rate from the Disney website.

The code is 2PF67BXOVXFDBKUJJUQ6 You have to book by 7/27. Also, don't forget to go through Ebates and sign in to Orbitz to get additional rewards. I don't know if other resorts were available.

Orbitz is easy if only booking 2 guests. If you're booking for 3+ it's a PITA.
Orbitz will automatically add an extra per person fee for each person. The only way to not be stuck with it is to book 2 guests then call to have the rest added on. Half the time even by phone they want to upcharge w/o understanding why.
Their employees barely spoke English so that only added to my frustration. Just when I had it all straightened out, we found a great rate renting DVC points so I ended up cancelling the Orbitz res. At least the refund came promptly.

Thanks for sharing the code, but yeah orbitz sent a bunch of those one use codes out about 2 weeks ago. Mine was 30% off. I had several reservations to make, but could only use it once (ended up using it for Vegas since the savings were greater thre, and the Palazzo never allows codes, but allowed that one)

Turns out I earned $60 in Orbucks for that booking. Most of the Disney hotels currently list 'Earn $x.xx on this booking, plus $60.00 bonus!'.

So, check your Orbucks. Looks like a good deal if you're okay booking through them.

In the fine print of the offer, it says that it will be credited after 5 business days. I reserved my room on a Wednesday and the orbucks were in my account the next Wednesday.

After you get your Disney reservation number from Orbitz (you usually have to call to get this), you link it to MDE. You can then schedule ME either online or calling the ME number directly.

This is how it was for me too. They even provided a link right in the confirmation email or possibly from Orbitz.com after pulling up my reservation. Also, the ME website allowed you to make changes later such as when dh decided to join us. At the end of the page, it asked something like, "Is this the first time you filled out this form for this reservation or are you making changes?"
It was really easy.
Though I do remember seeing 2 reservation numbers and being unsure which one to enter for MDE. When one didn't work, I tried the other. One is Orbitz's conf #, the other is the one recognized by Disney.

My Orbitz confirmation was like ABCDEF as opposed to the 12 digits Disney uses. I linked it to MDE and it then showed the 12 digit Disney #.
