Orbitz/ Cheaptickets rebooking?

Hey Guys! Just wanted to ask, if I book through one of these sites and get a better discount code from the same site, how do I rebook? Do I cancel and book again or is there a way to modify to add the promo code? This is hypothetical since I'm booking for Dec 2016 but I got curious.... TIA!

you have to cancel and rebook. Make sure to go through ebates for cash back!!
