Orbitz and ebates deal

FYI. There is 15% off at orbitz and 6.5% back from ebates. I checked a random date in October and there is some Disney hotels on there. Looked like the only good deal was AoA. 17% off

But I'm not sure how this works on orbitz. Is it only a few Disney hotels ? Is it always the same ones?

Would love to plan a trip but house issues wrecking the budget sigh

I don't believe there is consistancy on which hotels are offered. I have seen most of them on there at some time or other. I used Orbitz last year for AoA and it was great, no issues at all. Usually Orbitz gives you the current Disney % off, plus their own 15%(sometimes 20%), so it often comes out better than Disney. It's easy to link your reservation to the Disney site and book Magic express.

One thing to note is that the 6.5% ebates applies to cruises, not hotels. I think hotels are around 1%.

Thanks for the info. Would be nice if we could figure out if there's any kind of pattern for the disney hotel discounts. May not be one though.
