the place we stayed in had upper and lower units
we were in the upper- had to go up stairs if that is a concern for you
walk into kitchen- tiled, seemed like new appliances, eating area, then living room w/tv. Patio doors opened to a screened in porch.
Off of kitchen and living room were the bedrooms. Each had tv and bath. master had whirlpool tub. There was a washer/dryer in the kitchen area. I love having separate bedrooms and a kitchen, and the price was great.
To me, the place was nice. My family only used one of the two pools. It was nothing spectacular, but it was fine for them. They did have donuts and juice, but I don't think it was every day of the week. They had some planned activities, but they fell on our park days, so we did not go to them. There was a volleyball area- there may have been other things, but we were not really there for the 'resort', we were there to go to Disney, so it did not matter to us. I think we were there in more of an off season, so there may be more things planned during busier times. They were doing renovations while we were there- I am guessing that our unit had already been done.
It is so hard to comment on hotels. I have read things on tripadvisor that really made me worry about the hotel I had the reservation at, and then I stayed there and thought it was fine. Everyone expects something different from a hotel. For me, vacation is usually not about the hotel, it is about seeing the attractions in the area. If you are only there to enjoy the hotel, you may expect something different- KWIM? Personally, I don't like high class hotels wher people wait on you hand and foot- makes me uncomfortable- but other people love that.
