We can go to Orbit One for our entire week's trip.

Or we can go to BSC, checking in a day late & therefore have to stay elsewhere for the last night. But we were toying with going to Cocoa Beach area that last night anyway -- not sure yet. We leave for our cruise on the next day. So we're not sure yet if we want to still be in Orlando or already at Port area taking a break from Disney before our 4-night immersion on board.

Or we can go to Vistana -- the resort I see so highly praised on here -- IF one gets in a newer section...IF. Vistana would mean losing 2 days, so having to stay somewhere else our final 2 days.

All these options cost the same thanks to skyauction & the GREAT wisdom & advice on these boards. Of course if I have to add a night or 2 elsewhere then the cost will increase. But it's still all cheaper than the "suite" hotel I have booked for us.

I do anticipate we, 2A, 4 school-age kids will be in the Parks MOST of the time. So helpful Dis-ers -- any advice in making this choice?

Distance to Disney (MK & DtnD mostly) & comfort & a nice, close pool are the priorities. And a washer/dryer & a whirlpool tub! :earsgirl:

are all these RSG auctions....since you say you can get all three for about the same price....would surprise me if Vistana is showing up on RSG since last year they made more by separating Vistana out in single auctions

Bryan and Vistana are in the same area generally .....just about a mile from Crossroads and the DTD entrance.....

you could do a google search on Bryan....top find out about the amenities...

I was pretty nervous for awhile there as yes, I won a Ready, Set, Go (RSG) skyauction 5 minutes after registering for 1st time. Right after my bid I tried to put a hold on a property & then all my website fun for the weekend began. They were having LOTS of trouble with their website causing me considerable anxiety after I won & presumably was charged for the auction. Thank goodness for all the reassuring posts on here about success & good customer service with skyauction. It all ended well this morning with a phone call (e-mail not answered yet). We are in at Orbit One for $261. The interior of Bryan's Spanish Cove appealed to us much more than the bright colours & cold floors of Orbit One as did the cool photos of the serene (or old & dirty?) pool & lake, but we would have to do the last night somewhere else & we're still not sure if that is best for us or not. We're only sleeping there & we were very pleased with a $54 rate sandwiching us into Comfort Suites Maingate East before. Now I can get off these boards & get the taxes done!!! :earboy2: So THANK YOU again all you helpful Dis-ers for insisting that skyauction is the way to go & posting your successes & reviews of condos.

Yes, Vistana had shown up for a Dec. 2 check-in, but was gone quickly after.

Good going, Cdnmom2! :flower:

So you will be checking in on Dec. 2nd?? We will be checking out of Bryan's Spanish Cove on Dec. 3rd. :sunny: Then we check into Cypress Pointe GV. Hope you have a great time. I had an awful time deciding which one I wanted, Bryan's or Orbit one. Both looked fine. I finally went with BSC because we like the Lake Buena Vista area and it is exactly 2 miles from CPGV.

Make sure you tell us all about it when you get back. That way we will have more reviews of some of these places that aren't as popular (as Cypress Pointe or Vistana) so people have more info. Knowlege is power, right? :flower:
