Hi everyone

I thought I would start a proper planning journal now that I have spoken to Heidi at DFTW!!!

Shae called me last night and we discussed our wedding, we are pencilled in for a 2:30pm wedding at the wedding pavillion and a reception at either the napa room or the living seas and then a dessert party at UK lower terrace!!!

We are so excited, we got to discuss everything we needed to know and I will be able to sign the contract 1year out and I dont have to worry till 5th september when she will call us to say we have our date!!! We are going to call her with some back up dates/times in case someone else whats our locations and times.

I also asked her about the annual passes and she was shocked that I knew about it as its meant to be a surprise for brides that get married there!!! I didnt mention the board.

I'm not 100% on the flowers yet as I would like gerberas as they are my fav flower but i'm not sure if they will be able to get them. I have also contacted whimsical way and peddles about the floral as we dont really want to spend alot as its only for a couple of hours. I even thought of silk flowers and then at least we can keep them.

I love these holders as they are fairytale as that is my whole theme!!! Going to Disney you ave to have that theme!! Every girl wants to be a princess on their big day!

I have also contacted randy chapman after seeing Maggimus photos, they are great! We have also got the dvd sample from stan and he has our date so we are going to use him I think as the dvd is fantastic, we like the stylised edit 1 i think its called.

I have also picked my bridesmaid dresses as well, they are dessy ones ins platinum, I will post a pic when i get home as the picture is one my pc at home, i also have a flower girl who will be 12 (my sister) and I need to find her a nice dress yet as she wants to look like a fairy!

Wow. You are really on top of things. I love your dress. It is so pretty. I also love your df's suit. I wish I could get my df in something like that. If he could have his way, he would show up in a Green Bay Packers jersey. Can't wait to read more.

ok So these are my bm dresses, they are going to be platinum with a blush sash and they are from dessy

This is alos my first attempt at making my own tiara, this is not the style I am after but its a first attempt!

love your tiara, this is so funny - making a tiara is my new project too. The thing is, I saw one I liked but it was £105, so I thought " I could do that, but a lot cheaper".
so far I have bought a book at £14.99 and spent £90 on beads, bases and pliers!!! BUT I have got enough stuff to make quite a bit and made a dragonfly alice band for DD ( flowergirl ) last night which for a first attempt I'm quite pleased with. At least I can try on a few different styles and I supose I could always sell them on Ebay LOL!

Looks like by the time the wedding gets here, you'll be relaxing! Good idea to get it all out of the way now, it's much harder to try and get it all done in the last min! Good luck with all of your planning and tiara making!

Ok so since we are in the uk I thought it would be easier for me to send save the dates to our guests so they can book up flights etc as it gets busy with flights to orlando.

We did the same we sent out our own STD's so everyone could book flights etc early!

We didnt want to spend a lot on floral either but being from the UK i wanted to really deal with just the one place so i spoke with my floral planner about my budget and we got the cost right down! Worth speaking with them to see what they can offer!

My sister who will be 12 is going to be my flower girl and I have found this dress that is also by dessy that matches my BM so she is going to be in platinum as well

Congratulations on your planning it all sounds great, I did not realise that you coud book things farther in advance is there any rules to this e.g. only 18months before or is it for a custom only or anything like that. Did you just phone up and explain things and they pencilled you in.

Its not booked, I still may not get my date and time.
They just make a note of what you want then she will call me back on 5th sep to let me know what we got
