Ok a few updates!!!

I have today paid for stan so the deposit is paid for our video!

I ordered my bm dresses yesterday so they should be delievered 12th may

We are alos 15 less guests that have now pulled out! so we have around 16 confirmed now which I'm not at all happy with as we could have gone down the escape route but people said they wanted to come so we booked a wishes.

I know it can be changed but we are really liking what we have choosen and feel we shouldnt have to sacrifice the wedding we want!

Oh no i can not believe they have done that to you. I would be so cross. We were lucky everyone booked there holiday last sept (we get married 1st Oct 08) so we know they are coming at least. We have had two drop out but that has been a good thing really as it has saved us a little money.... Can disney change the wedding for you?

to be honest they could i think but we dont want to change it.

Most of them had booked! in like april last year when the prices were first released! and now they are all losing money

The others said they had booked a villa and then no flights have been booked etc.

Its been a nightmare few days and I'm hoping our BEO will be in this week!

Sorry to hear that some of your guests have changed their mind! I have a feeling that this might happen to me. After all the planning you should have the wedding that you want so don't change to an Escape. And you never know, if some of your guests are like mine, they will change their mind again!

Good news about Stan and getting your bridesmaids dresses!

we are starting to be confronted with the problem that people seem to think it is ok to bring along any Tom, Dick or Harry which a starting to get to me a little. The idea of a wedding abroad is to only have people around us that are special to us!!!

yes we have put our foot down now and said no!

i think it will be fine with jsut the 16 of us as they are closest family and friends which is who we wanted in the first place anyway!

We are having a uk blessing for everyone that cant make it anyway

Thats a shame people dropped out! We had 4 people do that and i was so disappointed - especially as at our engagement party they went on about how wonderful it would be and they would definately be there etc etc!

We ended up with 22 and in the end i think it worked out great! Like you said, we were happy that our closest friends and family were all there on our day and thats all that mattered!

Plus you'll have an amazing dvd from Stan to show all the people back home how wonderful your day was!

We loved ours! we were so stressed leading up to it and then we got back felt so relaxed about it till this week and now we are stressed again!!

Need another holiday! oh well 6 months to wait!

You will have so much fun, i loved the cake tasting!

Yes I think it was th right one! Admittedly more money but only just, he emailed me with a "special offer" to have the intimate pluss stylised long edit one for $1350 so I grapped it!

Yes I'm happy with the less guests now cos it means easier budget hopefully!

Hi Sarah,

Don't know if you've seen my PJ lately, but we're no converting from a Wishes to an Escape coz we're down on numbers too.

The fact that 15 people have dropped out so far along the line disturbs me though, if we lose that many later on, well, we wouldn't even be going if those were the numbers - we're reckoning on about 13 total at the moment including us!

I would love to have stayed with Wishes to get all the options and proper reception, but I just don't think we can justify the cost difference.

original! i have just shaved $11000 of it by cutting things we added in the heat of the moment! thats without floral though!!!
