Orange Tree resort

Hello...

has anyone stayed at this resort recently and if so could they give us some feedback on anything they particularly liked or disliked.

We know that it's all down to individual villas but some idea about the area would help.

Is it a gated community? How old is it? etc.

We stayed here in Dec 04. The villa we had was fine but the only problem we found was that it backed onto the 27 so was quite noisy when we were outside.
Unlike some communities there didn't seem a great deal to do and it wasn't gated either. We visited family who were staying at another villa community (Calabay Parc, also off the 27) and we drove to them from Disney POR and it did seem miles away.
I know they were building a new road which friends of mine told me was to get you into the back way into Disney, they had a villa at Orange Tree which they sold due to a marital split.
Hopefully somebody else will have stayed here more recently and can give you a new update.
